Absolutely loved it !! Got this for my daughter going through chemo always hot freezing us her husband and I out of house. lol anyway he is Japanese American those fans are not only beautiful but sturdy well built beautiful

Not just pretty
I bought a handful of these so I could scatter them about the house for hot flashes post chemotherapy. Lifesaver. They held up really well, too, even the one I put in my purse. My menopause friends asked me where I got them, and I ended up handing some out as gifts. Pretty, too.

Very pretty
These are very pretty fans. Well made and work perfect. Have used all summer in the heat wave here in southern USA. In the South sometimes you need a little fan even with air-conditioning lol. The design is very pretty with the mountains and colors are vibrant. I highly recommend

Splinters, The Bamboo is not smooth
I kept getting splinters in my fingers from this fan. The photos show where the splinters are coming from every time I touch it, all the way up to the sill fan part. I suffer from hot flashes so I keep a folding fan with me at all time. I love Japanese style because of their light weight and ease of use as I also have RA. I purchased three different fans and did not use this one until recently that is why I have not returned it, return window has expired (completely my fault). The bamboo that hold the silk is not smooth at all. Every time u pick it up to try to use it I get a splinter. I would not recommend this product as these splinters affect the performance. Other than the lack of smooth bamboo the construction is very good.
