Tiny sketchbook - I didn't realise how tiny it would be - thought it was A5. Wish all would use the same names for sizing. Decided to keep it so tried it out. Sadly the quality wasn't great - watercolour washes buckle the paper, some ink colours show through and I wasn't able to build up on the watercolour for mixed media work as Itchen abraded the paper. I would not buy again and will stick to my trusty pith sketchbooks.

This brand is consistently good, I only wish they would produce this beige tone book in thicker paper.

This was not wrapped in the usual Stillman & Birn manner. Stillman & Birn sketchbooks are always shrink wrapped with the Stillman & Birn band around the sketchbook. This cover also had drops of a sticky substance. I always hesitate to order artist quality products from Amazon because of this and other similar experiences. Makes me wonder if these are seconds being sold at the premium price. Artist buyers beware!
