DrinkMate 0.5L Carbonating Bottles - Black (2 Pack)

I just received my Drinkmate Bottles and they worked great on my SodaSense carbonator. Buyers seemed to be wondering about these bottles. These Drinkmate Carbonation Bottles are completely interchangeable with SodaSense bottles, caps and carbonators. I mean everything is the same style and size. The lids and bottles, cap threading/size, of both brands - identical. Caution: I am NOT referring to SodaStream products. They are drastically different and these Drinkmate Bottles will not fit on a SodaStream machine. Also a few people have mentioned SodaSensei (spelling!) products. I have no idea what those even are.

Small and easy to take on the go.

Apparently the 1 L size is not available, and bought this pair of smaller size bottles. I carbonate water and put in fridge. Take to table. When empty, wash out, refill with water and do it again. I see people use these to make carbonated drinks (which I haven't made, though I'm shopping for stuff to make tonic water). I like that they are food grade PET plastic, BPA-free. Apparently not dishwasher safe (they say "hand wash").

I use this to make pepsi with my off brand soda stream. The smaller bottles are great so I don't overindulge. LOVE the teal! Sometimes when I put too much fizz, the bottom pops off, but it pops right back on.

Have used before and works as advertised

We bought these as a replacement for the large bottles that had to be thrown away, and they are the WORST. They don't stay locked on for charging at ALL and the difference between "perfectly carbonated" and "blasts away showering you with water" is pretty much nothing. Drinkmate is my favorite carbonation, but these bottles are terrible.

I put one of these on the top (glasses) rack of our dishwasher and set it for air-dry. When done, the bottom of the container had bulged-out, displacing the bottom screw-on cover. (I later noticed the hieroglyphic illustration printed in minuscule type (a tiny box with the word "dishwasher" with an X over it.) How hard would it be to include "NOT DISHWASHER SAFE" in the description?

I don't have any soda stream machine, but I do love my Diet Coke and usually buy 2L bottles and pour them into empty plastic 16 oz bottles for easy transport. I got a bunch of steel bottles to use to keep it really cold and then found out you weren't supposed to put carbonated stuff in them because of the pressure. I tried these and they actually are good for my purpose. They are not as slim or attractive as just a regular soda bottle, and you have to hand wash it instead of toss it in the recycle bin, but they do keep the fizz in the soda a long time.
