Dayton Audio XO2W-3K 2-Way Crossover 3,000 Hz

There are many schematics for designing crossovers, and there may be a few kits. The point is: Getting it wright the fist time. Some may see this as a lazy mans way. Because I did not understand all of the details of building a crossover, and I did try, which only lead me to frustration. Thus, I deciced to buy a "ready made" crossover to fit my needs. Now I have good seperation between the tweeter and the woffer. Now, I am happy.

These board works seem to work well but they're absolutley enormous. I ended up having to make boxes to put them in, then screw those boxes to my speaker boxes. I didnt check the dimensions like i should have. I just didnt think they'd be 4 times bigger. They look like the boards from back in the 70s.

Speaker upgrade success

I replaced the cross over as well as the woofer and tweeters on some very old AR2 speakers. I couldn't be happier with the results.
