I bought this kit for my daughter a year ago. And it's still like a new. She's using it everyday. Very satisfied.

This set was my introduction to Matcha which my nutritionist recommended to help with some digestive problems. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of this tea, but I drink it because smart people have told me it's good for me. I love the bowl and the whisk, using them sort of triggers a calming change of mindset while preparing the tea. My palate isn't discerning enough to appreciate the difference between the ordinary and ceremonial teas. The ceremonial actually tastes a bit more grassy to me, so I won't be buying more of that. One odd experience relates to the package that the ceremonial tea comes in. It's a resealable pouch with paper on the outside and foil on the inside. About half the time I went to reseal the pouch, copious amounts of tea powder shot up out of the pouch spewing all over my clothes, counters, and floor, Now I'm a college educated adult and have been handling resealable bags for decades. And I could never figure out why the tea erupted out of this bag or how to prevent it from doing so. I wiped up and threw out much more of this tea than I ever drank. If I was planning to buy more of it, I'd transfer it to a jar as soon as I got it

I think this drink tastes very good. It’s easy to clean bowl and wood whisk. I just wish directions said how much liquid (milk or water) to add after the initial waters added to reconstitute dry matcha.

The quality seems decent overall. I will say I’ve already had a spike from the whisk fall off and I have meticulously cared for it, according to all package directions and tutorials I watched on YT about matcha making. The bowl is nice quality. Fair easy to clean for how many components are involved.
