It was very detailed reference for legal documents.

I am shocked at what great condition the Bluebook is in ! For the price I was nervous about what shape it would be or if there was notes or highlighting in it. It is in perfect condition, almost brand new ! Great bargin, thank you so much !

Law school is harsh, Partner. You’ll want to keep this book holstered on your hoot-toot’n shoot’n side. Wrangle that there syllabus before the big prof-[wo]man draws that red ink of theirs and wants to tango. YEE-Haw!! But seriously: why can’t we just all use a digital version. Prof made us buy it. It’s a good reference.

I ordered this book because I am taking a legal assistant course. It works perfectly in assisting me with my learning.

It is exactly as it says it is. It is a reference, not a tutorial. It purports to lay out how citations are done, but the examples are so spread out and disconnected, it can only be used as a reference. In my experience, there is NO citation guide that logically lays out citation examples for Federal, State, primary and secondary sources, with step by step instructions. It is left up to the paralegal to painstakingly make notes on how to do citations on their own. If a paralegal were to come up with even a 20 to 50 page guide on writing out commonly used citations with several solid examples for each type, they would make a Lot of money, in my opinion.

Most likely required for every 1L legal writing class. Very useful for upper-level courses and practicing lawyers, as well. Using the bluebook for legal research and writing is tedious but necessary. Most professors are very picky about citations, and the bluebook is great for understanding and checking your citations.

I need this Blue Book of Citations which I will use throughout law school and afterwards. Thanks so much for this beautiful book!

Great book for helping you cite legal citations or referencing proper ways to cite sources within or outside of the legal field. I have been out of law school for a couple years and still find myself using this book.

Lots of useful rules and information

Useful as ever, but full of typos all over the place.

Excellent product for my students. In this case the most important is to use it.
