Yes. I cut a slot after my prostatectomy and it is still great. (almost 2 months old)

Does the pillow get moldy

It will get moldy if it isn’t cleaned periodically. I make sure the cushion is propped up for airflow under the bottom.

Could this be used behind the back on the chair? I don’t want suction cups and it needs to be stiff so it won’t fall down.

Ido not see why it could not be used on the back of a chair. The one that I have does not have suction cups but does not move at all when I sit on it.
