Great reference on Bach’s! This stuff works very well for a lot of emotional problems. My favorite is White Chestnut for unwanted thoughts.

Excellent book on Bach Flower remedies. Detailed information as well as beautiful photographs on each individual flower. I feel I have a much deeper understanding of the energies and theories behind this type of natural healing after reading this book. So much great information. I underlined and highlighted throughout and feel this book is worth every penny. I will be taking a class in Bach Flower remedies as part of my Nutritional Health Practitioner training and feel I have an excellent head start and grasp on what these remedies are all about. I have used these remedies for some time now with great success and will now be able to recommend them to my clients with a better understanding and greater confidence.

I don't usually describe books as "the only one you will ever need on the subject..." but in this case, I really mean it. I have read a number of books on Bach Flower Essences since I first became enamored of them in college in the 1980s. But I have found nothing in any other book on the subject that is not contained here-- and in most cases, is written more beautifully and clearly here than elsewhere. Though called an "Encyclopedia"-- and it IS encyclopedic in the amount of material it covers-- it is by no means written in the form of dry facts, but in a very warm, personal, and uplifting style that enables you to truly get to know and befriend the Bach flower remedies and their system of usage. Reading the book is almost a healing experience in itself. As I read it I find myself feeling calm, inspired, and grateful for the magnificent yet simple system of flower healing that Dr. Bach developed and this author so elegantly explains. I have many books on Bach flowers, but this is the only one I keep in my professional office as a reference.

It’s not the greatest book out there, but it is a good resource if you are a beginner and working with the power of Bach flower essences. Highly recommend for beginners. You will not be disappointed in your studies. However, there are good websites and much more information available on The Internet. I found this book very helpful in the beginning and I still use it as a reference. It’s not quite as detailed as I would like, but more than adequate as you begin your studies. You will not be disappointed.

I love Bach Flower remedies. They have worked very well. I appreciate this book as it does discuss the constitution in a negative and positive state. Although the flower remedies work on an energetic level, I loved that the book had wide margins. I also studies the herbs as whole herbs and put my notes in the margins so I could compare. Many times I find that the physical symptoms usually accompany the emotional symptoms. This book discusses the emotional symptoms targeted by the flower therapies. The actual images and the descriptive language helps to readily identify the need for each remedy.

The Encyclopaedia of Bach Flower Therapy by Mechthild Scheffer is the only book you will ever need to learn about these flower essences. I am currently doing a Bach Flower Essence Training Course and have found this book to be a valuable reference book. Each Essence is thoroughly covered in depth; how they work. how to choose the correct flower essence for particular personality and emotional imbalances, along with questionares and tools to utilize during consultations to assist with providing appropriate therapy, are all included in this book along with the Philosophy of Dr. Edward Bach. A 'must-read' and Reference book for Bach Flower Practitioners.
