I make vanilla extract and have for years. These are the best beans that I have tried. I purchased the 50 pack. They are fresh, plump, full inside and not dry at all. No mold issues either. For those wondering how many ounces there are, mine weighed 4.5oz in total. That's more than enough for a 750 liter (25.36oz) bottle of liquor. 1 ounce of beans to 8 ounces of alcohol. I will continue to order these beans and would recommend them to anyone. They are packaged very well and no issues with shipping.

For being grade B vanilla beans. These are amazing! I purchased grade A from same company. And I find by the oz gives you better cost per bean. B grade I found maybe 5 shriveled up& on the smaller size beans rest of the 4oz plump and longer in length then grade A 50qty I purchased. Great deal and better quality than what I’d find locally.

I've ordered these multiple times with great success. Everyone loves the vanilla. I make with vodka, rum and whiskey. This time I'm going to pour myself a drink and then split the beans and place all 50 into the 1.75L Jim Beam bottle. I let set, shake occasionally, for at least 8 months but 12 if I can holdout. The beans had moisture, a little sticky texture, a great smell and when finished the color is great and the taste even better. I have no issue with recommending these vanilla beans. Enjoy.

These are good beans, nice and oily for making vanilla extract. My math may have been wrong but it seems like a got a couple extra, which is a nice twist. They were easy to split and I do not expect any issues now that they are soaking in whiskey and rum. My wife seems happy with how they have been progressing so that's a win.

I bought two packages of the 50 count, and was a little disappointed by the weight. I was expecting it to be a 1 oz more per package (my picture with the weight includes the plastic packaging). I what specifically looking to buy vanilla beans by weight, so it would have been nice if it was explicitly written that the weight was an estimate and the number of beans was the deciding factor on how big the package was. But overall they smell really nice. I sliced them open and there was a ton of caviar in it. I'm really excited to make vanilla extract out of this.

These beans were sticky, just like a good bean should be. I make double fold vanilla extract that requires the B grade pods. I am very pleased with the quality.

I thought I had found a good deal on vanilla beans in a physical store, which is how I initially sourced my beans to make homemade vanilla extract. Upon searching here I found these beans to be a significantly better deal. They come in a vacuum sealed bag. They’re oily, fresh, and fragrant. Most, if not all, are less than 7 inches but it doesn’t bother me. I’d definitely buy these beans again to make more vanilla extract in the future!

When I opened the package I thought they had sent me the pack of 10 instead of 30. Compared to the picture, very small.
