EXCELLENT replacement wheels for my rolling office stool! LOVE them!
Originally, my rolling office stool had plastic, wide roller wheels on it. They seemed to be a magnet for my long hair. After owning the stool for quite a while - also purchased on Amazon - the wheels did not move as freely. When I investigated the cause for their sluggishness - lo and behold! - they were clogged up with my long hair! After one of my daughters and I spent over an hour trying to cut all of the hair out with fine scissors, a razor blade, and an Exacto knife, I quit, in frustration. Evidently every time one of my long hairs hit the floor, it was instantly attracted to the plastic wheels. In addition, most of the other females who help me in our business, also have long hair - SO - there were plenty of long hairs around to clog up the wheels. I ordered these wheels. They arrived a few minutes ago. We installed them, and what a difference! Not only are they quiet, but they enable me to roll around on my stool much faster, AND there is no place for hair to collect. They appear to be very sturdy. They were easy to install. They are smooth gliding, and I am glad I purchased them!

WOW!!! Is all I can say!!!
I just happened to stumble upon these while at Amazon's site. I'm glad I did! One of the bad things about office chairs and job trailers, the original wheels that come with the chairs constantly damage the laminate floor! It's hard to see the damage in the one pic, but it's there. Like several folks have said, it's harder getting the old wheels off (but not too hard), than it is putting these on! But man, once you do, they are QUIET and extremely SMOOTH! Being the chair is at a job trailer, it's a PITA trying to keep the trailer clean from all of the guys coming in and out. The original wheels would lock up on the slightest piece of dust on the ground. These wheels, not anymore!! They roll right over the little bit of junk like it's not even there! Did I mention they're extremely quiet and smooth rolling??? On a side note, I've seen a couple of reviews talking about how they raise the height of your chair. They were 100% correct. I'd say it will raise your chair about 1" - 1.5". Probably closer to 1.5". But for me, that's not an issue because I'm 6'4". These actually raised my chair up just enough the my knees really liked the difference. These wheels are so good, I just ordered another pair for my wife and her office chair because she works from home and her chair is on the carpet. It's a low to medium shag carpet, so I'll have to keep you guys posted on how it works on the carpet. But from reading some of the reviews from folks who have theirs on carpet, I'm not even worried about it These are 100% worth the purchase and I highly recommend them to everyone who's looking for something like this. Now to see how well they hold up to a job site trailer!

I researched, I bought this, I'm satisfied.
I bought two sets of these wheels, one for an expensive gaming chair and one for a generic office swivel chair. The wheels on the gaming chair were still good but it was getting tiresome removing pet hair and stuff. The wheels on the generic office chair weren't gliding so smoothly anymore with all the stuck gunk. These replacement wheels are a night and day difference. Installation was easy, simply pop them in after removing the old wheels It was harder to remove the old wheels than install the new ones. Now our chairs have this smooth buttery gliding feeling on our laminate floors and the best part is they aren't as much of a hair and dirt magnet compared to the old set of wheels. These wheels add about 1-2 inches of height, but if your chair's height is adjustable then that shouldn't be an issue. I have been using these for a few weeks now and the firm but gentle-on-floor "roller blade" rubber material doesn't seem to cause any markings at all on our laminate floors. Bottom line: If you need high quality replacement wheels that glide smoothly on bare or carpeted floors without marking or scratching them, get these. I understand there are many similar replacement wheels out there with good reviews so it's hard to choose one. I went with this brand and don't regret my purchase.

Absolutely love these wheels
We just installed a new Luxury Plank Vinyl (laminate type floor) in our office. I have a huge desk and was going to have to purchase a new floor mat. The cost of the new mat for the size I needed was over 150.00. Yipes, but then I found these wheels listed. Figured for the price difference I would give them a try. They got here quickly and my brother-in-law installed them for me. Took literally less than 5 minutes. Just pull off the old wheels and pop these on. WOW, these things are smooooooth. I love them. I can roll from one end of my desk to the other with very little effort. They make no sound on the floor when rolling. The only down side I have found is that they are SO good at rolling that I had to learn to sit still when typing so I don't roll away from my keyboard. I actually liked them so well I bought a 2nd set for the other person in the office and she loves them too. I am thinking about getting more for my chairs at home in my sewing room. If you want to glide around on your office chair I highly recommend these wheels.

Will bite your feet!
The functionality of these casters is great to say the least. They are quiet, easy to install and let your office chair roll around like an ice skate. The downside that nobody's talking about is that if you use your chair without shoes on and you happen to have your foot on the wheel, then move somewhere, it will suck your skin between the wheel and the frame and it hurts like the Dickens! I'm guessing most people don't have office chairs at home or they're keeping their shoes on at work like normal people would (I'm looking at you office weirdos, put your shoes back on) and is simply will not be a problem.

OK with one unfortunate failure.
Worked great for several years. Recently the mount for one of my wheels bent, so now I'll have to buy a new set. I'll be buying a different brand.

I purchased these to replace the original castors on my home office chair. It's been months of working from home, using them every day, and they've held up really well. I'm using them on a hardwood floor, and they move very smoothly. I actually had to get used to how easily my chair would move. The only disappointment was the slow shipping. I wish they had been fulfilled by Amazon rather than shipped by the seller, but they arrived intact and complete.

Did you send me a bootleg? Product looks like it does on the ad with exception to the wheel saying “Made in China” not Opticco as the pictures show. There’s no brand in this or customer support just a poorly written instruction card. I didn’t honestly notice until after installing but I paid more for what I thought was a brand but is just the exact same as the 500 available on here. This is not a real brand it’s just misleading.
