It arrived intact and was packed very well inside of the box. it looks great it matches my stove and other appliances. It works like a dream, it gets the job done and it is so easy to use, it holds a lot of food. It is well made and it is not flimsy or looks cheap, it looks like a more expensive slow cooker. The black color is so dark and rich and so is the ceramic bowl, the chrome trim shines so bright, it is a awesome product to have in my kitchen. I would highly recommend this product so i am giving it a 10 star rating. I love it, Thanks Amazon.

This isn't the first slow cooler we have had and this one seems as nice as the other one. Hubby fussed because it took so long and I told him that was how it was supposed to work, if he had wanted it sooner her should have fixed in the cook pot. We had chicken dumplings and gravy with it. Really good! I am glad we bought it, I remember how tender many of the meat, beef, pork and some chicken were so tender. The fixing of beef stew, of bake potatoes an more that we enjoyed eating. So many but can't remember. Turkey was so tender it fell off the bones, same with a the small chicken (can't remember name, chemo brain messed up *sigh*). We bought the 7 size and I am glad, it gives me room for the turkey, good size ham or roast. I love to make food that I can freeze the left overs or can the meats. I HIGHLY recommend this one if you want a larger one or have a large family (4 or more) as it makes it easy for going to work and come home to a cooked mean and easy clean-up. Adding note: Took so long was the time for the food to be ready, not the arrival of the crock,

Initial feeling is that it works fine. I wondered about the gasket on the rim but see it's a useful design while transporting in a car. Coupled with the rubber band that secures the lid in place I received no spillage that is typical when transporting a crock. Glass lid also has a small hole vent that let's out some steam but not too much so contents stay warm. Temperature and timer setting are a plus rather than the sole 3 position swith. Love it so far.

I'm just a tired mom who needs her slow cooker to do it's job. Let me set the scene. It's March 2024, and the crock pot we were gifted at our wedding 12 years prior had died. I got on Amazon and found this Hamilton beach slow cooker and ordered it. I used it 3 times, then 2 months in it stopped working. I turned it on, the light came on, I put the food in, and then hours later I realized it never heated up. The first time it happened I googled how to reset it, and I tried, but the next time I used it the same thing happened. I reached out to customer service and they sent me a new one. So roughly June 2024 I get this new one, and I used it a handful of times with no issue. Fast forward to January 2025, me and my husband and the kids have been sick since before Christmas, it's dark and cold, seasonal depression is setting in BAD, and my debit card information keeps getting stolen. So I just cannot do this right now and I desperately need the slow cooker to do the heavy lifting for dinner...and I load it up with a chicken enchilada recipe. All day I'm looking forward to dinner being done without having to stand over the stove because every day that winter continues in Ohio makes me feel more and more dead inside. So I checked the slow cooker 30min before it was done because I needed to add the tortilla strips and cheese. As I approached, I became acutely aware of two things, 1) I did not smell food, and 2) there was no condensation on the lid. Immediately I pulled the lid off and gazed down into the slow cooker to find raw chicken sitting in a puddle of ingredients. In an act of sheer desperation I grabbed the thermometer and thrust it into a chicken breast...hoping, praying that this was not happening again. As soon as I saw 99F pop up on the display I yelled and launched the thermometer into the sink. I unplugged the slow cooker and set it aside. Later that evening, after my 8 year old presented me with a comic strip he drew that captured the slow cooker fiasco and a perfectly illustrated picture of me with my head thrown back and a word bubble that said "THIS CHICKEN IS RAW!," I sat down to message customer service again. I shared the ongoing saga with them, asking if they could please fix this problem in a way that did not involve sending me the exact same make and model of faulty slow cooker which would undoubtedly ruin dinner again in my hour of existential crisis. I heard back from customer service 8 days later. They said they could not refund me because I was out of the window, but they could go through a warranty claim and send me a different model as long as I still had the slow cooker. Welp....that pot full of salmonella took it's final voyage into the trash can that fateful evening, which I figured was fine because they didn't ask for it back the first time. So here we are.

The Hamilton Beach crock pot is easy to program & evenly cooks roasts, beans, etc. It’s well made and easy to clean, but heavy.

I have enjoyed preparing meals in this crackpot. It is large and sturdy. Only downside is it seems as if I set the timer foe certain time it won't shut off just restarts over.

This is a sturdy small kitchen appliance and made a whole lot of chili for a contest! I did not win but still very glad I bought this! Two hour and four hour settings for the long slow cook.

Read purchase this crockpot because of all the settings it has. It is very reliable & cooks well. I used the last one without liners & it got scaly. I stick to Reynolds liners now

This gets used regularly and it fits a lot of food! (2 packages of Costco ribs/ 2 beef roasts/ a LARGE chicken for some examples- We like to cook once and have plenty for leftovers.) The capacity of this slow cooker is about as big as they get. A few other features that I like are the rubber strap for the lid, the hole in the lid for a thermometer and the on/off button. The one we replaced had to be unplugged to turn it off. This is more convenient. It would have been nice to have a meat thermometer included but a barbecue one works just fine.

BUY OTHER BRAND! Less than 14 months old and it completed died. Used at most once a month! Of course two months past the warranty date the unit died during warm up and won't turn on again. Nothing but a door stop at this point, I paid $92 back in June, 2024 for this useless product. No more Hamilton Beach Products for this house!

Used it so far a couple of times and it works great. Heats like it should and stews come out amazing and well cooked every time. Heats evenly all around and easy to clean. I always like Hamilton Beach products and never had issues with this brand. There are lower price slow cookers but you get a pretty good value for your money with Hamilton Beach. I recommend it.
