Très bien pour soigner une fourmilière au sabot. Il faut bien malaxer le produit avant utilisation un peu comme de la patte à modeler pour pouvoir l'insérer dans les fentes du sabot.

I used this putty to fill a crack in my horse’s hoof. It is very hard and sticky so I softened it first at home and scooped a bit into a plastic baggie. I kept it warm in my pocket so that it stayed soft. When I got to my horse I turned the bag so that I could put my hand into the dry side and push the putty into the crack. It worked great. My hand stayed clean and I was able to push the putty well into the crack. The putty stayed in the crack for over a week.

What I did was: soak hoof, dry, place on large piece of cardboard(our barn has rubber mats but this keeps the hoof cleaner) let air dry, work with the putty with clean hoof pick to get out(once out it goes soft in hands quickly but it's a rock in can). Then have someone else hold foot when you put it in. It stays in about 1 or 2 weeks for my mare.

This product lasts a long time - I’ve used it almost daily for around 1 month and still got lots left. Great value for money. I just needed to fill gaps in my horses hooves till they grew out, I didn’t need the holes drained so this hard putty was ideal for filling (if you have an abcess/infection then would be better getting other putty as it would allow to drain better than this one). It is tricky initially to get the product out of the tin, I used a hoof pick and scraped. It’s easier if you put the tin in hot water to heat it slightly but I managed with the hoof pick. To warm it up roll it in your hand and then squish it into the desired location. It lasted as long as I needed it to, I chose to take it out and replace it every 3days but you could leave it in as long as a week the tin says. I did find dirt/debris got on top of the putty so thought best to replace more frequently. Love this product and would definitely buy again although I hope I never need to and have a lame horse again </3 !
