I recently purchased the LED Motion Detection Light Bars for my home, and I wanted to share my experience with this product. Overall, these light bars have some great features, but they may not be the best choice if you're looking for under cabinet lighting specifically for ambient light purposes. Let's start with the positives. One of the standout features of these LED light bars is how easy they are to install. With their adhesive backing and compact design, I was able to attach them to the underside of my kitchen cabinets in no time. The installation process was hassle-free, and I appreciated the flexibility in placement options. In terms of light output, these motion detection light bars really shine. Once installed, they provide a bright and focused illumination that is perfect for tasks that require good visibility. Whether I'm preparing meals, working on projects, or even just searching for something in a dark corner, the light bars deliver excellent brightness. The motion detection feature adds convenience by automatically turning on the lights when I enter the area, eliminating the need to fumble for a switch. However, if you're seeking under cabinet lighting primarily for ambient lighting purposes, these LED light bars may not be the ideal choice. The light they emit is quite focused and directed, which means they are better suited for task-oriented activities rather than creating a cozy atmosphere. If you're looking to set a relaxing mood or provide gentle background lighting in your kitchen, these light bars might not meet your expectations. Another aspect worth noting is the lack of a continuous lighting option. The motion detection feature is excellent for conserving energy and extending the lifespan of the batteries, but it means the lights will only stay on for a short period after detecting motion. If you're hoping to have under cabinet lighting that remains on for ambient light throughout the day or evening, these light bars might not be the right fit. These lights work very well. The motion sensor work quickly & stays on the whole time you're near the light & are moving. They were very easy to install to the underside of my cabinet. They light the space up quickly & are very bright.

There is always a closet or storage area without a light installed. I Got these for a linen closet and a small pantry. They are mounted at the top of the door frame and are great! Installation is easy with the included tape strips that secure a thin metal bar, and the light is magnetically attached to that! You will appreciate the way it is mounted because it is easy to pull off and recharge the light. I have not had to recharge these yet, as you can imagine the length of time you actually spend in a pantry or closet is short. The auto timer turns it off 20 seconds after you leave or shut the door. This was a great find and an inexpensive and easy solution! The lights are bright and extremely light weight. I also ordered another set for a few more applications. You will really like them! The second set was the softer warm light models and they are easier on the eyes. They have lasted more than 2 weeks without a charge and the pantry light is used a dozen times a day.

These lights are fun, and perfectly fine for what you get in the box. They are quite bright at a full charge, and the PIR motion sensor is a welcome function. However, the devil is in the details, and these lights aren't "perfect". They are, however, very good. I definitely appreciate the two-pack. Let's lead off with the USB-C recharging port. These lights are not USB-PD compliant, and will not recharge on a "smart" PD power supply. Further, the included recharging cables are also not compliant, and any "smart" PD capable device will refuse to recharge through them. -1 star overall. If you're going to support USB-C, support the WHOLE USB-C. C'mon, it's just a few resistors. That out of the way, let's talk about the rest of the light. The lights are quite bright at full charge, and will gradually dim as the battery runs down. While I have not tested this, it's possible that the PIR sensor will fail at end-of-charge and cause the light to power up continuously until the battery runs out the rest of the way. You are going to stop getting usable light out of it before this point though. 4 stars brightness due to how far they dim as the battery runs down. The diffuser doesn't look quite as attractive as in the pictures, being a soft, diffuse, matte white finish rather than a glassy or reflective one as I thought. This is not a problem though. The lights look just fine anyways. The diffusion is very effective. The entire "panel" illuminates evenly when on, with no sign of weak or hot spots. Props here. Battery life was pleasantly long before I felt it had dimmed too much to be usable. Obviously in PIR mode it'll vary widely based on how often and long it triggers, and how low into the dimming you can tolerate before it becomes unusable for your application. The PIR's sensitivity appears to be aligned to be most sensitive to motion along the light's short side, and less so along its long side. Experiment with rotation to get the best results in your particular use. Four stars for motion detection. The magnetic mounting is very good. I was able to attach the lamp to the metal corner pieces in doorframes around my house, where it stayed securely. It was also able to rest naturally atop any door moulding when a door didn't have any metal frame to attach to. The light's weight is balanced well, so you'll have to tilt it "upwards" slightly to make it stay put. The included metal strips with double sided tape are a welcome accessory. Five stars for ease of installation.

We have an older home and these lights were a wonderful and affordable way to add lighting under our overhead cabinets. Not only gives the kitchen an updated feel, but also provides more light on over the counters, which is helpful for meal prep. I also installed along the bottom of the bathroom vanities to provide subtle floor lighting at night. Slim, unobtrusive design and can be set to stay on or be motion activated.

Long life battery with on off mood/sensor mood is perfect also

Excellent quality. One of the brightest ones if have seen and the biggest batteries. Updated Review. After 2 months it has stopped working and won't charge. I have sent it back as faulty. Like other people, the charge doesn't last as long as I expected. Maybe a week?

We used these to replace old wired lights in our closets. I prefer these. They shine a great light and really do not have to charge them often - maybe once every 6 months. These are sleek and perfect. I tried battery ones and the hard wired ones and these are by far my favourite.
