I’m utilizing these mounts to suspend my mountain bikes from the ceiling, and the build quality has exceeded expectations. Ran out of storage space in my workshop. Wanted to keep the good dimensional lumber ( Birch, Cherry, Walnut, Mahogany and such inside. Solution ? Hang them from the Rafters. These Overhead Storage Racks are sturdy and serve the purpose very well. Price was reasonable (IMO) as well.

Rack is sturdy and exactly the right height to be above my garage door when it opens, but plan on using some other screws. When I tried to drive the included ones into the joist they stripped out really bad, and the metal was so soft that I *very* quickly had a cone. It's not me--I tried doing a second one very carefully to avoid stripping it, but that one had to be removed with pliers. Installed with some Simpson hex-head construction screws I had and everything's great.

I use this on my Garage ceiling for wood, PVC ect. It works great for what I need. I actually ordered this set for a friend who saw mine and wanted some to do the same things with.

Much smaller and light duty. Only holds small items.

These hooks are heavy duty when coupled with 3 inch screws. I believe one pair holds 70 to 80 pounds. I used them to support a 16 foot ladder and another pair for two electric scooters that weigh a total of 60 pounds.
