Overall nice boots. The only problem I have is they are not made in USA. The Thorogood website seems to imply that their boots are made in America and I bought these on that assumption. These boots were made in China. It would be nice if the country of origin was included in the product details. Update a year later. The rubber is separating from the leather, as well as the layers in the soles are separating. I don't know if they had a bad batch of glue or what, but these don't seem to be wearing as well as I'd hoped. I'll try to keep fixing them, but for the price, I feel like these should last much longer. Update again. The stitching that holds the sole onto the leather is coming apart and the boot is separating from the sole. These being work boots, I would think they could stand up to the type of chore work that I do, which compared to others, is probably relatively light. I e-mailed Thorogood via Amazon last night but haven't heard a response yet. If I had to do it over, I wouldn't buy this pair of boots.

The boots are well made heavy duty boots. They are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The soles are anti-slip, and feel like they have good grip. My only complaint is the delivery by Amazon. The driver left the box at my neighbors, on top of the trash container. The boots are American made, and well worth the money.

Took 3 days to break in but now they’re very comfortable. I got the exact size I normally wear in ariat and wolverine and they fit well, maybe just a little narrower and I wear wides.

Likes, they can take a beating, and theyre comfortable to say the least. Unlike my heritages, they fit a bit looser so it took some to get used to. The welt held up well for its first job, with only the sides wearing. For chinese boots, and Ive had bad chinese thorogoods, the leathers still holding- but they certainly arent water proofed until minked or greased. Dislike that the inside liner on the left boot wasnt attached as well as the right: the left heel liner likes to hug the ankle so it makes removing boots almost impossible unless youve a shoe horn or channel locks nearby. Sidenote: One night they were a bit uncomfortable to take a knee with the safety toe riding my foot but a bit more breaking in resolved it
