I had a hodgepodge of drywall tools accumulated over a bunch of projects, but decided to purchase this set mostly with the idea of replacing my 10" plastic compound pan for a stainless steel one as well as having a variety in the size of knives for the job. It's made a world of difference on my last job. The stainless knives clean easier as does the pan which makes for a cleaner finish. A high quality set of tools at a fair price that should last forever.

Good quality materials

I was tempted by the $20 sets that had everything included until I read the reviews. I only needed this for my home and they were worth every cent. These are NOT cheap junk! These knives will last me a lifetime and I would expect any professional to be impressed by the price. They have a good weight and the blades have a nice springy flex to them. The tray is solid and I'm looking forward to redoing the repairs that I've already attempted.
