A must-have for thrifty enthusiasts
An absolute must-have for anyone with a variety of battery types, it even came with clips so you could hook up to, say, a car battery to use as a field charger, which is a surprising feature. As some have stated, it doesn't come with a wall power supply, but it's easy to find a plug that can be soldered onto an old laptop charger with voltage between 11 and 18. That's what I did and it works flawlessly, just make sure the polarity is right if you do (Negative goes on the outside). This unit is also great for discharging batteries for the purpose of finding capacity, which can let you know if a pack is on it's last leg. Better to find these things out at home than to discover a battery is ruined by losing control mid-run. Some have also claimed that the build quality is subpar, but I have seen no such thing. In fact, it seems to be very robust with good, tactile buttons. I would also recommend this over any typical NiMh/NiCd "smart" charger, as it allows you to monitor voltage, current, capacity, etc., and overall just do more with your batteries, even if you don't have LiPos. I had a Nixx smart charger once (admittedly, it was a bit el cheapo) and it worked maybe twice before giving out with no warning or explanation, taking my NiCd pack down with it. This GoolRC unit has its own error codes, and, while I haven't had to face any yet, they are all covered in the manual. As far as I have seen, this item is robust, useful, and convenient. I am glad to finally have a proper charger with a proper user interface, and maybe it's just my inner control freak talking, but I am ecstatic to finally be able to control and monitor voltage and current while charging. One thing worth noting is that this doesn't come with a Tamiya connector, so if you plan on using that kind of battery, make sure you have either a spare connector or you order an adapter from here on Amazon. Actually, just look at the bottom picture at the top of the product page, that shows all the wires. As long as the picture hasn't been changed, the leftmost cable is for input voltage, the middle one plugs into the unit via bullet connectors and ends in a Deans connector, and the others plug into the Deans connector cable for yet more connecting possibilities. Besides, if you plan on using this for RC, you've probably had enough experience already that you can figure these out yourself and I'm just preaching to the choir. But, be you an old-timer or a newbie, this is the ideal charger for the enthusiast on a budget. Anyway, I'll try to remember to update this review if anything happens, so if you're reading this and it's no longer 2017, assume that all is well. Or assume I've electrocuted myself. Your choice.

Perfect little throw in your bag charger for flying on your lunch break
This is a good low amp charger that will charge pretty much any battery chemistry you know and gives you up to 50 watts of output power. They are long-lasting I've had one of these for going on like 8 years and it still works perfect the second one I bought is just to spare one to keep in the car for if I decide to fly on lunch break or whatever but they last a long time and as long as you're not parallel charging and require in a whole bunch of amps in a high wattage charger these are perfect little cheap charge everything Chargers. They're fairly accurate they balance pretty decently they're typically within about 3/100th of a volt of my 300 dollar Charger 410duo. Now if your packs are way out of balance these do take a very long time to balance the pack because the balance output is very low but as long as the packs are fairly well balanced it's perfect for charging1-4s smaller packs, I use them to parallel charge 2s 250mah packs it will parallel charge 8 of those little 250mah packs at 2c and I also use them for 1s 550 and 800mah packs that's where this charger signs is with charging your smaller one and two cell and even three cell packs but I don't suggest them for 4S and higher cell count packs just because it doesn't have the power two little wattage. But for the smaller packs they're fantastic they're small they're lightweight they're cheap but more can you ask for?

Nice charger
This charger is nice, it’s beeps a little loud but you can tolerate it and it charges quick with the right cable and it fits many of my battery’s but you might have to buy a adapter. It’s pretty easy to use only needing a 1 min video to learn how to use it and its size is small and convenient, works well and I like its metal build quality 9/10

no power cable good balance charger for ebike batteries
if u know how to solder and have old power brick ac adapters left over from old tech you can make your own power cable. I was able to use a 5 amp power supply and it works great charges batteries fast and balanced for my ebike. I have like 5 different chargers from different names but some of the chargers look like they use a universal one with different names. They all work the same. not 100% accurate slow charging even with higher amps. Q6 nano is better.... update I bought 2 or 3 of these and 2 of them think the lipos are fully charged even though volt meter and other chargers see them as needing to be charged. There is no reset of the settings and I tried different power cables and batteries. Basically 2 bricks now since they say full charge after like 10 seconds and they were working fine at first. I would not buy again waste of my money.....

Great charger, couple annoying quirks
Awesome charger. Has the same features as ones that are twice as much. Seems like a solidly built charger. I use this for small 1s lipo batteries so haven't tried anything larger yet (220mAh). It works perfect for my use. The directions are easy to understand and I probably could have charged my batteries based on them but I always do more online research first one stuff like this. I really like the saved settings. I setup my charge, discharge, and storage and still have a couple saves left. There are two problems which is why it is at 4 stars. It does not take any 11v-18v DC charger. I have a lot of them in that range but none would fit (from computers and other electronics), they were all a little too wide to fit the hole. Which is weird, so I had to buy a DC cable to use. Also you can't go forward and back through the program/charging setup. You can only go back, so if you missed what you were doing you have to cycle through everything.

Out of the box the charger was simple to use with many different types of batteries. The various adaptor cords were an added bonus. Good value for price.

That’s it

It could not charge the batteries using the correct voltage, it is a cheap chineese copy, I only found out once I began to research why the voltages were incorrect. It damaged my batteries by OVER charging them. I researched how to fix it and found that it should be able to be calibrated, I tried to do this but it would not go into calibration mode. Likely only the GENUINE charger can do this. NOT happy!
