Very Tasty
I love this product. I have never used Red Bean Paste before for Boba drinks. This is a fantastic product and has a very nice, sweet flavor to it. I think I will try the smooth version though, next time. This one has a lot of skin to it and although I don't mind it, I think smooth would be easier to drink. So, if you like fiber, this is for you! :) This version might be better as a spread or something you would already be chewing.

Delicious!
I just had a hankering for dorayaki. The beans are so smooth just like I like it and they taste just like the bean paste you find in market mochi.

Makes an amazing cookie
I was having a holiday cookie contest at work and decided to make it a challenge, so I made gluten-free cookies with red bean paste. My kids loved the first test batch, and everyone who tasted them at work (the people who weren't afraid of them anyway) all said they were great and several asked for the recipe.

Very nice quality
This is the only bean paste I’ve ever tried off of Amazon and I was really nervous to try buying some thing like this but overall, I really liked the taste, and it came to me in very good condition. I do think the price is usually about two bucks more compared to a market but if you do not have a local market in your area, this is not a bad price. Would recommend to use this for any sort of Japanese desserts are making that involve it or even for dip for things like strawberries.

Great for hopia!
The Koshian red bean paste is just what I wanted to make Filipino hopia with. It’s thick, tastes great, and as expected with Asian desserts, lightly sweetened. It’s about 18 ounces and the two packages I received expire April 2024. I will only use one and vacuum seal the second one and freeze it. I have previously made red bean paste at home and I really didn’t like that I couldn’t get it to be super smooth even with my Breville food processor. This package is worth ($16.80 per bag at time of purchase) having it pre-made and save me time.

Super yum
Looks just like the photo, after opening the red bean— I recommend to keep it in a jar inside the fridge. The package isn’t zip lock so it’ll stay fresh for longer if you put it inside a container. The flavor is great! Taste just like what it’s suppose to be, red bean! The texture of mine was quite smooth and you are also able to scoop it into balls to put in homemade mochi! Not too sweet either, the flavor is very comparable to store bought mochi that had red bean inside

Great texture
This was amazing. Went great in the sesame seed ball.

Too much sugar, expensive, not bean-y enough
I looked high and low on amazon for a not-from-china red bean paste, and this Japanese one is what I found, so I gave it a try. The label says one serving is 50g, and there's 26g or 30g* of added sugar, which means it's 56% - 60% sugar and just not a lot of beans. I'm torn. It was expensive, it wasn't bean-y enough, and it's full of sugar. It tastes alright, nothing special to me but my child thought it was delicious (probably due to the high sugar content). I am inclined to try and find dried red means and make the paste myself to save money and control the bean to sugar proportions to my liking. *Something's not right with the nutritional label.
