Blendtec Twister Jar Gripper Lid 900072

I was so thrilled to find this! Our puppy got our other lid so I desperately needed a new one. I love my blendtec blender and the lid!

If you're stuck with an expensive Blendtec "twister" mini jar that only came with a "gripper" lid and found it useless, then for another $29 you can actually use the mini jar. This is no complaint to the seller, which was a great seller and quickly shipped the lid, it is a complaint to Blendtec who upsells their products while not providing significant value. Be carefull of filling the "mini" jar more than halfway, use the "pulse" or "low" speed setting since a "Medium" or "High" will decorate everything around a 3 foot radius with the contents of your jar (specially protein shakes or milkshakes). The lid has a weird design on the top which looks like it would serve to pour, this is poorly design and you will find yourself making another mess elsewhere in the kitchen. Unfortunately this is the only lid which will allow a Blendtec owner with a mini twister jar to blend anything liquid, so either get another blender or one of these.

Now I can make small size smoothies and drink right out of the mini jar..Also great for chutneys!
