I'm very impressed with the assortment provided for sketching and drawing. I like that all the graphite pencils are included as well as white and black charcoal and charcoal sticks are especially pleasing. I am very glad that sandpaper and a variety of blending stumps are included. Makes a great value. The included sketch pad is also nice and comes in 3 colors: white, black, and tan. I'd say the quality of the items themselves is pretty nice. This a very giftable item and great for any art student or beginning artist. The only thing I'd say to improve is the interior design is a bit flimsy (the straps started fraying after day 2 of using it), and the kneaded eraser cannot fit back into it's elastic area once it's been opened and kneaded. If there were a pouch or pocket on the OUTSIDE that could hold the kneaded erasers, that would be ideal. I also feel like pencils will start falling out of their elastic holder if jostled or small - so once again an pocket or multiple pockets would be idea. I also think the knife for sharpening pencils is shoddy and I'm buying a new one right away that is sharper. Overall, glad I made this purchase and it is a great selection of materials.

My adult son really loved this nifty little set! Good for beginners and veterans. Good variety of pencils. Nice carry case for sketching on the run!

I was kind of shocked at how comprehensive and quality this kit was. I just needed something quick, as I’d gotten rid of my art supplies and needed some for a figure drawing workshop, just for fun. I was expecting to deal with charcoal that was hard in random places, poor quality wood in the pencils, etc. But instead I got an extremely useable little set for the price. It’s compact, too, so it fits in my backpack very easily. It is fun to use! Exceptionally pleased.

Nice starter set. May actually be TOO MUCH! But for the price, it comes with #'d pencils, a very nice case, solid zipper on case. No complaints so far!

Great sketch pencil kit. The pencils are decent quality and it’s nice to have the sandpaper sharpener, metal sharpener and pencil holder. Only problem I’ve had is with trying to get any sort of point or even a nub started on the charcoal pencils

Comes in a nice case. Haven’t opened it yet but it is heavy too. It’s a Christmas gift.

This surprisingly small pouch contains everything you need to sketch! However there is no color involved so personally I feel like this is ment for figure sketching, the addition of charcoal pencils is a super nice touch though! I found it very nice to use and I highly recommend this to anyone interested in getting into art!
