Great docking station replicator

Great for extra flash drive and SD card ports. But beware -- if you don't have a USB-C THUNDERBOLT port, you won't be able to use this hub for attaching video monitors. It has two HDMI ports, but my laptop doesn't have the Thunderbolt port. Disappointing.

This unit has all the ports I need and more. I just hope it lasts longer than the 9 port one I purchased less than a year ago.

Overall, I like this product. I bought a second one when the first started blacking out my external monitor after screen time-outs, sleep, etc. I figured it was a manufacturing defect but the second one also started doing it (both maybe 3-6 months after purchase). I can't tell you that it's not a Microsoft issue but the fact that it took a few months to exhibit the symptom makes me think not. The solution I find is to unplug the cables to the laptop, monitor, and power to the hub then plug them back in sequentially (1. Laptop to Hub, 2. Power to Hub, 3. HDMI to hub.). I hope this helps you but I'm going to go find my third hub and hope to not have this issue any more. I'll still use this good little hub for travel.

This device is very good when setting up a multi-monitor setup. This enabled the running of many devices including backup storage to be handled in one place. It is of very good quality and does not need much space. It is highly recommended.

Seems to be slow (a few seconds) to connect all the devices every day. Mostly works, except a few times that I had to reboot and/or unplug docking station and reconnect USB.I have laptop, two external monitors, printer, internet, keyboard/mouse , and external light and a charging cable connected.

I like this docking station. I have had other docking stations that would make my extra screens go black randomly. This docking station hasn’t been an issue at all. My screens don’t go black, it works great. Has a lot of spots for plugs. I have multiple items plugged in! I would buy this item again.
