Q: Will this cut 3 inch copper pipe?

The one I bought was max 1 1/4” size and it did a good job. But 3” size is also available. So I am assuming it will cut the copper pipe. Frankly, I have not come across 3” copper pipe for use at home. If you buy the right size, it will cut.

Q: Will this cut 3 inches metal fence post

It might, but it would be on the ragged edge it it's capacity. It is light weight and not at all beefy. The selling picture of this cutter even shows it cutting copper pipe. I cut some 1 inch aluminum tubing and one thin wall stainless pipe, it performed OK, but if you need to cut a lot of pipe and thick stuff, you need a larger Rigid brand cutter.

No, you can only cut 1/8-inch to 2-inch Steel Pipe.
