Large and Spacious...
I'm a senior in college and I decided I needed to upgrade my backpack from an ordinary Jansport with 2 pockets for a backpack with sufficient compartments for the stuff I carry around on a daily basis such as: my 10.2" laptop, 3-4 paperback novels (required for my literature classes), 2-3 hardcover textbooks, a planner, a 5 subject notebook, my laptop charger, my wallet, my iPhone, my headset, a pack of 10 pens, a few pencils, highlighters, mini-stapler, 3" x 3" post-it notes, post-it flags, white-out, pocket pack Kleenex, some sanitary napkins, a mini flashlight, 2 bottled waters, and a reliable space for my keys. This backpack is large (I'm 5'6" and weigh 110 pounds) but despite all of the textbooks and utensils I carry with me on a daily basis this backpack feels very comfortable on my back. I love how the back is padded and the shoulder pads are also comfortably padded. I estimate that I carry about 15 pounds of supplies around the university when my backpack is full but it feels remarkably light. Its very durable and does not feel cheap at all. I also like the 2 exterior compartments for storing water bottles; I keep a beverage in one and an umbrella in the other one for rainy days. Most of all, I enjoy its design. I like to be organized and place my laptop, notebook, planner, and large textbooks, and my wallet in the main compartment. In the secondary (medium sized compartment) I usually keep a few paperback novels for my literature classes as well as some pocket-pack tissues and sanitary napkins. The small compartment is exceptionally designed; there is a little hook for conveniently hanging my keys (that way I won't have to spend an eternity searching for them at the very bottom of the compartment) for quick access. Also, there are small compartments in which I keep some post it notes, a mini bottle of hand sanitizer, and a mini flashlight. The zippered compartment is extraordinary as it allows me to store a maximum of 15 writing utensils (pens, pencils, and highlighters a mini stapler and some white out).I highly recommend this backpack for someone who is looking to stay organized on a daily basis.

Jansport bags last forever
I bought a Jansport backpack all the way back in the 9th grade - the backpack survived through high school and four years of college. It survived through years of camping and fishing trips - I only retired it after seventeen years of use, and after all of that time? It's still in great shape. Jansport makes fantastic bags - so I didn't hesitate at all to buy a new one. The Boost is a lot larger than my original bag, and I haven't used it as much yet - but it's comfortable on my back, light weight, has an amazing number of very usable pockets. It's an excellent backpack - love it so far. Thanks again, Jansport - and thanks Amazon for a hell of a deal. I got the bag here for fifty bucks less than it was marked in local stores. Awesome!

Incredible all-purpose backpack
I was a hesitant to purchase this backpack at first because I thought i could have been too small to fit my needs but it turns out that it has been perfect for me.I have used several briefcases for my job and have always had a problem with space/laptop placement/weight distribution. I felt that I should be using a briefcase since I have a suit & Tie type job and that anything would look unprofessional. There was a co-worker that came to the office using his camping back and that motivated me to search for something similar. The pack has been extremely versatile for my needs. It holds several binders, folders & my 15" Macbook easily and comfortably. It has become my main trade backpack when I am traveling for only 1-3 days and need only a few clothing items. The pack can be stuffed to the seems and is still comfortable to walk around with. Also, i has a convenient pocket at the bottom of the pack that allows me to grab a pen or headphones without taking the pack off.Great Pack! I highly recommend it.

Jansport is the best backpack brand ever!
I've been using jansport backpacks for 8 years not and they never disappoint! This one in particular is awesome! What I can fit in it without breaking my back-Macbook 13' inch with special pouch behind books-macbook charger (Bottom pouch)-Organic Chem book with answer book-2 five star note books and 2 smaller note books-organiser-2 water bottles on the sides-Vitamins in the middle pouch-Small snack and headphones in the top small pouchYou can probably stuff more in there and it won't rip it of course, not recommending that if you want to keep a straight posture haha. Its also very comfortable! Very solid and I know it will last me at least 3-5 years!

Jansport never disappoints
I love Jansport bags. I've used them right from school. So when i got my first job with an IT company, I did get a bag from my employer to carry my laptop. But that bag started to tear from the first month onwards. So i decided to get the Boost Backpack. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Its comfortable, well made and truly worth the money. There is enough space to pack my 15.4 inch laptop, 2 one litre water bottles, my lunch (i carry a lot of lunch), a couple of files, a diary and miscellaneous items. And after all this, there is room left for some other things. I have used this on short vacation trips and did not need any other bag on my journey. So, take my word for it, buy it.Cavet Emptor:This is quiet a large bag and I am 6'2". So short people beware.

Different Model Than Before
After years of carrying my old HP Laptop backpack, I decided to throw in the towel and buy a new backpack. I settled on the Jansport Boost because of its utility. It is nice and spacious; I had the opportunity to test out the backpack prior to purchase and it consisted of solid synthetic cloth build with nice padding for your lumbar. However, the model I tested, the same Jansport Boost, had a different pocket setup. I was slightly disappointed that the 2nd didn't have the same mesh setup as the prior model. The product itself is still great, but be forewarned that it is different if you are repurchasing the same backpack or looking for a prior setup.
