Best you can find
I have been using these little lights for about three months now. They run 24/7 as night lights. I have had no problems with them. They run much cooler than expected. After hours/days of use, all of mine can be touched directly on the LEDs without them being anything other than mildly above room temperature. The dimming feature works great. Just touch and hold to dim down and again to dim up. Power on and off by touching and releasing. Three of these in the same room are sufficient to see and get around in the middle of the night. They are great little emergency lights that can run off pretty much any battery pack, phone charger, laptop port, inverter USB port, etc. They are a great way to provide light from nearly any power source (5V, 200mA, 1W). They can be inserted either direction into the USB A port and will work. This allows them to be installed opposite each other in dual port USB chargers, face up or face down in USB hubs, etc. Very pleased with this purchase.

These are great!
This is one of those little gee-gaws you won't realize you need until you need one. It plugs into any USB plug in a power bank (and it seems EVERYONE has at least one nowadays), computer, charger, laptop, wall outlet, etc. and gives you a tremendous amount of light. The board has contacts on both sides so you can plug it in so it points in the direction that will illuminate without blinding you. Touch the contact surface at the top (where the keyring slot is) and it turns on full power. Touch again and it turns off. But the nice feature is it is dimmable. Touch and hold and it will slowly dim down to a gentle nightlight glow. Touch and hold again and it will slowly go to full brightness. If you dim it and turn it off, it remembers your last setting and comes on at that setting when you turn it on as long as you don't unplug it. There are five each of the warm white and the bright white. I prefer the bright white but to each his/her own, Try 'em, you'll like 'em!

Great LEDs for power outages
These are great my power back can run one for over a day. Came in handy during the last PG&E outages during the fires. These come 5x soft white and 5x day light. Honestly, I wish they just sold 10x of the soft white, both work great but in a power outage the soft white bulbs are easier on your eyes. Especially when it's your only light source. Anyway, both are great, very bright and with a USB power brick it'll run all day. These really came in handy for me during the last California fires. They cut my power 4 straight days because of high winds. Then there were 2 more outages but like 2 or 3 days. I can't tell you how much these came to the rescue.

Works great. good brightness.would recommend if you want a bunch of these for nightlights or emergency lights with a powerbank.
I like these. Pretty good and bright. could be slightly brighter though if you ran them from a slightly higher voltage supply. for example 5.25v or 5.5v from a dodgy USB powerbank with a higher voltage USB spec From an ideal 5.0v power supply with no voltage drop under load. two of these on maximum brightness use about 260mA and one of them uses about 100 to 130mA. maybe slightly more depending on how high the USB spec voltage is. They have a dimming function (you can squeeze out a tiny bit more brightness after plugging in if you dim it a tiny bit then brighten it all the way) and a touch on/off function Very useful for my computer since my computer is on my desk with USB ports right above my keyboard. I can keep my keyboard lit up nicely with it. also works great with a USB wall adapter as a nightlight. (I have a 3 way USB splitter charger plug so I can plug 3 of these in at once for maximum brightness!) Only problem is they are VERY very snug and tight in the USB connector. so you might want to shave the end's gently with sandpaper if its too tight to fit in some USB plugs. don't just jam them in. if you always run them on max brightness they might get warm to hot. depending on the ambient room temperature. so i'd tap them to turn them off for a minute before charging the brightness if they have been on for a really long time in a hot room. I'm sure the LED's will be fine though. they seem to be neatly soldered and well made. I always use the cool white ones since I live in a hot climate. makes the room seem cooler.

Great little lights, best used in cheap plug-in USB power chargers.
I mainly use these in cheap plugin usb power outlets (which you can get for a dollar or less apiece in most places) as night lights around the house. I also take them (and the usb power outlets) with me when I travel, since I often want to have dim light in places I rent in other countries - two or three of these in a room can make it look candle-lit. You turn them on by stroking the sides with your fingers, you dim them or brighten them by holding the end - no moving parts, very cool. I like the two different LED colors - they are useful in different places. And it's great that they're dimmable. All in all, some very sophisticated technology goes into these, and they're cheap and useful.

Nice functionality, poor quality control
These are impressive in that if you use the touch switch to set the brightness they'll actually remember the setting when you turn them off using the switch. Unfortunately, they don't remember the setting without power, if the power to the USB port is lost they forget where they were. They do come back on after power is restored, but at full brightness. Quality control seems poor, had one dead light (a warm white) in the batch of 10 - tried it in multiple USB ports, all of which worked with other lights, but was never able to get the failing one to come on.

good
Helped me a lot when the power goes out Use it with a power bank that does not consume a lot of energy and does not heat up throughout the day It also helped me a lot when I charge my solar-powered watch I install it on the power bank from two to three days to charge my watch and during this period the power bank is often fully charged and this piece is not hot at all
