My son absolutely LOVES this. It comes in a pretty big box but once you see how much is inside the box, you can understand why the box is so big. Installing it requires a Phillips screwdrivers. I also found in my set that an extra screw was included for spares, just incase. Most of the parts just push/clip in. The instructions are extremely easy to follow and my son enjoyed helping me build it. I personally found assembly time took around 20 minutes. It wasn’t difficult at all. I love how the train turntable at the bottom of the tower has connections for Thomas & Friends tracks from other sets so, I can connect my other tracks to this tower. In total, you have 4 extra connections (one is at the back and 3 are at the front of the turntable). The motorised Thomas included has absolutely no issues climbing the steep tracks and other motorised Thomas & Friends trains that have tested can also go up the steep tracks as well. The non motorised train included can go all the way from the top of the tower to the bottom in one continuous motion so, lots of speed a fun!! I love how the top of the tower is designed to encourage children to learn how motion works and how levers operate. I will be very honest though… I bought this tower more for fun than learning. A bag of stickers is included to sticker up the tower but, I am waiting for my son to go sleep first so they go on the tower and not his forehead or the wall. No batteries were included for the motorised train. For the size and quality, I think I have certainly got brilliant value for money with this tower set. All the plastic feels like good quality strong plastic so I’m hoping that this tower will last for a long time. It also is very sturdy even with a child leaning in places I keep telling them not to. Very impressed. Extremely pleased with this purchase and my son is one very happy chappy.

Got it at a great price with a huge discount. Trains fall off the track easily when coming off the bridge, but that didn't bother my daughter--she loves the set.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this trainset. It took me about an hour to put together. It was my son’s Santa gift and me and my oldest sat and played with it a bit before the rest of the kids woke up. It’s a good size, well worth the money. & it’s great because you don’t have to constantly reassemble it. It’s super fun for all ages of kids & can be stored away in a closet. It is pretty durable however a giant mirror fell on ours & broke one of the plastic clips so we will have to glue it back. I hope it works because my son loves this toy. He has autism and can be pretty rough on toys but this has held up pretty well.
