Although I am deeply frustrated with Amazon's handling of the replacement process, I still strongly recommend this chandelier. I purchased three of them, and unfortunately, three lampshades arrived broken. Amazon representatives were unhelpful, 6 of them passed me on to someone else avoiding responsibility and only suggested a refund. However, the seller promised to replace the damaged parts. As for the product itself, it is incredibly elegant and of high quality. PS: If they don't follow through, I will update my review here.

This fixture has an expensive, high quality, look once installed. As unbelievable as it sounds, as a very novice DYIer, was able to install this fixture without a second set of hands. My little tip was to use picture hanger wire. Once I got the bracket secured, I used the hanger wire on either side of the fixture to secure it with enough room to work on connecting and strategically placing/bending the wires within the container (whatever the space between the ceiling and the fixture base is called). Once connected, I was able to secure each side by evenly pulling the picture wire up until I could replace it with the actual screws! I felt like such the electrical Rock Star! LOL

Sadly, as much as I liked it on the photo, it has been the most terrible light fixture we’ve ever purchased. I purchased it three times in the hope to make it work, and every time it either broke or didn’t work right. The shades are very beautiful but they are made of the thinnest possible glass. They are so fragile - a few shades cracked in my hands with no pressure applied. One cracked in the box - it’s a mystery why, may be the wind… very sad because I really liked it simplistic and contemporary design and smart look. Now, out of all the shades, we have only one whole in cracked shade… the light has not been working reliably either.

This is one of the few chandeliers of this type on amazon to come with coverings over the lights, which I really believe sets this chandelier apart from the rest. We love the finished product - it is elegant, interesting, and lights up the room very well. As well, I had an issue with one of the coverings, but the seller promptly sent me replacement parts; 10/10 for this seller. The chandelier does take some assembly, but the finished product is completely worth it!! Note: not all light bulbs will fit inside the coverings, you will need to purchase bulbs under 4" in height; I went with 'FLSNT 100W Equivalent LED Chandelier Light Bulbs E26 Base, 5000K Daylight Dimmable LED Candelabra Bulbs, 800LM, 6 Pack' on amazon, and am very happy with the results!
