Before buying, you'd want to know what the size of the numbers you are replacing. Mine were 4", so going to 5" not a big change, but the modern numbers do take up more real estate on the wall. Be aware that the more you space them apart, the larger they appear, and once you mount them, they are NOT coming off the wall without considerable effort and some patching and painting. The backing card for each number is a mounting template that you can pin/tape to your wall where you will be mounting. You can use a light nail to mark the center of each of the three holes you'll need to mount each number - you can simply tap the nail through the mounting template after you are sure that's where they're going (did I say there's NO going back after you drill without some patch/repair first...). The good news is that the templates are accurate, so if you mark and drill accurately, mounting is easier. One of the things they DON'T tell you on the instructions is the diameter of the drill bit you'll need to drill to insert the anchors. The way these anchors work is that you have to get the hole JUST right for width and depth, because the anchors, even if the numbers aren't yet mounted, do NOT come out easily and are meant to both hold to the wood and expand as you pound the numbers into the wall (this true whether you use the floating spacers or not and are just mounting them flush). The anchor holes have to be slightly longer than the anchors or you'll have to use some extra force to get the numbers to insert deeply enough. The numbers must be tapped in relatively evenly, meaning that you'll have to move pounding the upper part of the number to move to the lower part of the number until they meet the spacer or the wall (depending on whether you're mounting floating or flush). I used a thick piece of corrugated cardboard to pound on and protect the numbers. I had to use a surprising amount of force, using a rubber mallet, to get them into the wall and worried I'd damage the numbers in the process. Fortunately, it all looks great the they are perfect. Depending on where your numbers mount and wet exposure, you may want to use some caulk around the base of the spacers using a toothpick to protect from any moisture getting into the drilled hole. Hope this helps, I'm satisfied with the result and thought it was worth the time.

Great numbers just the perfect size 5 inches. Color pops on the wall so you can see far away. The floating look is great. Installation is not difficult I wish the template would come with the holes already. Love the look of the home.

These are extremely modern and fairly easy to install. The problem that I had was the pillar that I installed my numbers on was a simple Wood piece and hollow in the center. So I wasn’t able to use the anchors it came with. I ended up filling the hole that I drilled with Caulk, and then put the screw in and then attach the numbers. It actually worked great, and they are very sturdy. Because I have white pillars, they are very easy to read.

These look great on my house. I replaced the old, dated style that I had. Good size and easy to install. Arrived as they appear in the photo. Recommend!

I think the numbers look dang good, actually even better than I thought they would. They made of stainless steel, they're just big enough, and they look cool and modern. It should be a five-star review. What knocked off the one star is the installation instructions. The instructions tell you to use a 1/8 inch drill bit to drill the holes and then you have to put the anchors inside. As you can see I mounted them in concrete, and 1/8 in is just too small. I almost ruined the first number (5) trying to get it in. I tested a 1/4 in drill bit but that's too big. So back to Home Depot I went to get a 3/16 inch. If you're putting it in concrete, save yourself some heartache, and get a 3/16 inch drill bit from the getgo. Make sure to bore the whole out a little bit and the anchors will slide right in, and you'll tap the numbers in with a minimum of fuss. On my house, I started with the 5 and worked backwards. The number 5 took forever until I got the right drill bit, but the 6 and 1 literally took 5 minutes each. I gave them a star back, because it turned out they had extra supplies in the pack... all the numbers come with three pieces of mounting hardware, even the number 1 which only needs two.

We repainted our house this summer and needed to put house numbers on for the first time that you could easily see from the street. After a ton of research, we decided to give these a go and boy were we pleasantly surprised. They look so high-end and fancy and they are very clearly visible even from the street. The price was very much worth it for each number, 10/10 would use them again for our next home.
