Best griddle I’ve ever had (I’ve been through several)
This griddle is outstanding. It’s got a super durable surface that works just as well for grilling meat as it does for pancakes. So far it cleans so easily, is nonstick and I love being able to take the legs off for cleaning. The heating element works well, but because it circles the outside of the unit i do notice the middle doesn’t get as hot. This isn’t a problem for me since the griddle is very large and I can cook the same amount of things on the hearing element as I did my last one and still have plenty of room to move things around and switch up the direct heat. I highly recommend this griddle (I have been using it for a few months) if anything changes I will update the review.

Great Griddle!
Who knew a griddle could be sleek and sexy as well as cook your pancakes and bacon. This griddle is easy to clean. Heats up quick and evenly. The drip tray works great. We use it for french toast and tacos. Highly recommend!

Not perfect, but the best griddle I've ever used
I had a few things I was looking for in a grill. - VERY nonstick - easy to clean - steady temperature - low sides - even heat distribution* (This is the problem) I was wary of the nonstick issue with this griddle. The textured surface concerned me. I bought it anyway, because of the questions and reviews. Other reviewers said it would be fine and they were right! ZERO sticking. I did eggs with no oil or butter this morning and they were perfect Low sides - I needed these griddles to make crepes. A LOT of crepes. After the batter is poured, I use an offset spatula to spread them out. I'd been having serious issues with this when using my stove and the first (bad) griddle I tried. Well, these handles are super low. I didn't even bump into one while cooking my super-sized test batch. "Easy to clean." This was a place where I thought I'd be forced to compromise. I'm happy to report that I was wrong. The handles pop right off. All you have to do is press two springs and away they go. Without the handles and the wire, it's nothing to take it to the sink for a quick wipe down. This is where the nonstick surface really shines. There's barely anything to wipe off. Steady temperature. This was the reason I was forced to try a new griddle in the first place. With my gas stove, I felt like I was spinning plates. I kept having to tweak each burner the entire time I was cooking. I needed to be able to set it and forget it. The only minor bump with this is that, toward the end, both of my griddles did start to overheat. It wasn't major and I just had to drop the temp by about five degrees. Back in business in less than 30 seconds. Heat distribution. This is where Presto lost a star. One griddle has near perfect even cooking all the way across. It really is remarkable. But the second griddle has a serious cold spot in the middle. I was able to work with it (it's still SO much better than what I was using), but it is annoying. I'd live with it, but the other griddle is so perfect that I do believe that this one is defective. I'm going to make one more test batch tomorrow to pay attention to that particular issue. If it's obvious enough, I'll return this one and get another. And yes, I *absolutely* will get another. These are the best griddles I've ever had in my LIFE and right now I'm a loyal fangirl. It normally takes me about 40-45 minutes to make a batch of crepes (that's with four burners going or two of the griddles I just gave away), but last night I made a double batch in 26 minutes, start to finish. Cleanup of the griddles took me ONE MINUTE If they last and continue to perform like they did, I'll be giving these away as presents.

Everything in description is TRUE. Buy it. Be happy
This is the best griddle, bar none. I have had soooo many. Everything said is true. It heats EVENLY really. REALLY. I have had it for 2 days and made perfect french toast for 2 mornings. Made all 6 at once so we could eat together. Usually the cook has to eat while cooking for others. Not with this. It does clean easily. it does store easily. I bought this for myself as my small cute D brand just was driving me nuts. I am thrilled. I can eat with my family. Love it.

Best griddle we've ever had
We have owned a number of electric griddles over the years. They've all had hot spots, and the nonstick finish never held up, even though I always handwash them with gentle scrubbers. My husband does most of the cooking, and he uses the griddle for all sorts of things, including eggs, pancakes, bacon and sausage, and hash browns. So he gets to see how they perform under a variety of heat conditions, and with different requirements for oil lubrication of the griddle's surface. We have been happy with our ceramic pots and pans, so when it came time to replace our griddle, I looked at the ceramic options, and found that the best reviewed ceramic griddle at the time was the Presto 07062 Ceramic 22-inch Electric Griddle with removable handles. It also happens to have a great price. So I bought it. My husband has used this griddle a lot for the past two months, and every time he uses it, he comments on how much better it is than any griddle we've ever had. It is true that there is a visible mark on the top of the griddle where the heating ring runs around the underneath — it's kind of a loss of the ceramic sheen, not really a discoloration. It does not affect the cooking at all; it will just never look new-out-of-the-box again. So we don't care about that. There is a very distinct diamond pattern texture to the entire surface. I wondered whether this would catch particles and bake them into a hard crust that would be difficult to clean, but that fear was entirely unfounded. This griddle cleans up so easily! See the photo with this review. It shows both the diamond pattern and the only two scrubbers I ever use to clean the griddle — a plastic scrubbing ball and a nail brush (for fingernails). After sudsing off the surface of the griddle with the scrubbing ball, I give it a light rinse and then use some of the leftover suds to run diagonally across the griddle in both directions with the nail brush. This gets anything out in the low places of the diamond texture. It is really very quick, and quite effective. I never have to use elbow grease. Even tough, cooked-on food comes off easily. MOST IMPORTANT: Do not EVER use nonstick spray with ceramic surfaces! It can't withstand the heat, and becomes a super sticky residue that is nearly impossible to get off. We discovered this with our regular ceramic-coated pots and pans. On ceramic surfaces, only use high temperature oils — we usually use butter on the griddle. This griddle doesn't need any oil at all on pancakes (or, obviously, bacon & sausage); for eggs, we use just a tad of butter and smear it onto the part of the griddle that we will be using for the eggs. And finally, we have found the drip tray to be more than large enough to hold all the grease that flows from six slices of bacon. I would definitely recommend this griddle with no hesitation.

Actually is non-stick
Bought this after observing a friend's. It actually is non-stick as advertised. I was amazed. Flipping pancakes, for example, was so much easier because the spatula could slide so easily under the pancake. Takes almost no cleanup effort. Love the large surface. It heats pretty evenly. I expect this surface to last a lot longer that the old teflon non-stick surfaces and be healthier/not release microplastics.

Highly Recommended Grill With Excellent Featurs vs other grills
I love this grill. The non-stick top performs better than the typical teflon-coated black grills . I can make eggs without having to place oil or butter (scrambled or fried) without the eggs sticking. I grill veges, make quesadillas, and fry burgers or bacon. The best part is that I can remove the plug and the handles with integrated feet in order to clean the grill in the sink. CLEANING: After just a few uses I discovered the brown ring starting to show where the heating element is. I anticipated this after looking at user reviews with photos and videos. I believe this happens due to grease from bacon and other meats getting trapped within the pattern of the grill top which turns browner each time it's reheated . What I do to clean this problem is to take a cleaning brush I got from the dollar store and wet it in some gentle dish-soap sudsy water. I then lightly whisk the area that is brown ensuring that I follow the direction of the pattern in the grill top. I don't scrub but just gently whisk the bristles which will get between the grill's pattern and pick up the grease. I recommend not scrubbing in circles but instead whisk back and forth according to the direction of the pattern. The pattern is like an "X" so bottom left to top right motion and back and then bottom left to top right and back as I go around the entire brown ring on the grill. You may find this tiring or more time-consuming but doing this after grilling meats or using anything that leaves an oily residue will ensure you avoid an ugly brown ring that will take even longer if you wait a month or more to do this type of cleaning. STORAGE: I leave this grill on the counter. I sometimes turn it on its side to provide more room on the counter top but it's convenient to just leave on the counter until I need it. CONCLUSION: Other than cleaning, I don't have much else to suggest when it comes to using this grill. If you've used a grill before then you already know what you can do with this grill as it works exactly the same as any other grill. The only difference is that it seems to provide a superior non-stick and evenly heated cooking experience. This means I highly recommend you get this grill. The price is a great value. My old grill it replaced was only $20 but it was a teflon-coated type that had a smaller cooking surface and began to cut on and off sporadically. It was also impossible to clean the brown-in ring that formed on it.
