Great Easy to Use Diving Light
If there's one thing I like about this diving light, it's the simplicity of it. It's a no-frills light, without all the extra, unnecessary features. The packaging is standard for Wurkkos, with everything tucked neatly inside. Not only does this light come with the 21700 battery installed, but it includes a USB charger as well! It also comes with a strap/lanyard that has a rubber sleeve on it for comfort, extra o-rings, an 18650 adapter tube, and instructions, of course. If you're familiar with diving lights, you'll recognize the magnetic ring switch. If you're not familiar with diving lights, this magnetic switch is used instead of your standard button. This switch operates the light by use of a magnet, mitigating the need to run wires to the switch, thus allowing the body to be completely sealed. This switch has 4 positions: off, low, medium and high. It's as simple as that! In regard to the size, it fits right in the palm of your hand. Like most of the lights I own that use a 21700 battery, I find that it's not too big and not too small. I chose the 2700K over the 5000K and boy am I glad I did. It gives off such a warm glow, it reminds me of a sunset or campfire. If you've never had such a warm temperature light before, I recommend getting one. In a world of bright white LEDs, something just feels peaceful about it.

Wurkkos DL30 – A Simple Waterproof Flashlight That’s Not Just for Diving
The **Wurkkos DL30 Dive Light** is one of the best flashlights I’ve tried and I own MANY different flashlights. It’s all metal, super bright, with up to 3600 lumens, and the light is a nice, natural color that makes everything look clear and sharp. It’s also really simple to use. Unlike some of my other flashlights that use complex interfaces, like Anduril 2.0, this one is simple and straight forward – you just twist the lens to turn it on, off, or adjust brightness. This design is especially handy if you are wearing gloves, as there is no button to fiddle with. I’m not a diver, but wanted a reliable waterproof light to use in wet/damp environments. I’ve used it for all kinds of things—walking at night, working around the house, and even in heavy rain. I’ve dropped in in puddles and submerged in water tanks looking for stuff on the bottom, but it holds up perfectly and doesn’t miss a beat! It’s waterproof enough for diving, so I know I can count on it in any weather or wet environment. The flashlight feels solid but isn’t heavy, so it’s easy to carry around. It runs on a single 21700 lithium battery cell, so it lasts a long time on one charge. Unlike other flashlights I have, however, this flashlight light does not utilize an external USB port to plug it in for charging. Instead, you have to unscrew the base, remove the battery cell, and charge it in the provided cradle (or external charger if you have one). It is a bit awkward at first, but a small price to pay for it being totally waterproof. The manufacturer even included several spare o-rings in case they wear out or get pinched while removing and replacing the battery cell. This flashlight is tough, reliable, and works great for just about anything. If you need a light that can handle everyday use and more, this is the one to get. It’s definitely worth it! Highly recommend! Another great product from Wurkkos!

Solid, Compact, Fits in Hand, Intuitive UI / Able to use with One Hand
My first Wurkkos flashlight was the TS10 V2, a great EDC flashlight but made for flashlight enthusiasts with a complex UI. For a light I wanted to use around the pool and to take the dog for walks even in the rain, the DL30 is great. It has a solid built, able to withstand drops and bangs. The bezel extends beyond the lens to help protect it. The UI is dead simple rotating the ring to turn on and vary the brightness. 3600 lumens seems about correct. Beam Quality/Tint is very good. Not a ton of throw, but being a triple LED creates more of a wall of light. Most dive lights are pretty chunky, what I like about this one is that it's compact, fits in the hand well and can be easily operated with one hand without having to adjust your grip. A little bit on the heavy side, I wouldn't want to take this hiking if I'm trying to save weight. But for a work flashlight that's built like a tank it's great. Comes with a massive 5000 mah 21700 Wurkkos branded battery. I've had good luck with their batteries so far. Run time is quite long - the light will step down when it gets too hot, but you will still have plenty of juice. Good flashlight if weight is not an issue.

The magnetic rotary switch is a game changer
This diving light rocks! Every other flashlight I have uses a traditional switch. Those switches are fine and get the job done, but having a magnetic rotary switch is a total game changer. Most lights that use 1 switch will have you press and hold it to cycle through the modes. The rotary switch of the DL10R means that when you turn the light on, you always know what mode you are in. No more guessing. The switch being magnetic also has a really unique feeling when you turn it. It's not "clicky" because there is little resistance in each turn. This is to keep it water tight for deeper dives. Many other diving lights use magnets for this reason. It was great to see Wurkkos implement magnetic adjustment into the rotary switch. Another notable feature is the usb-c charging built in. Usb-c is everywhere now so this means you will always have a place to charge this light. Other than that, the light is well built and very robust. There are dual O rings for the battery compartment and usb-c charging cover which should keep water out. The light output is also really nice. It's more of a thrower which is exactly what you want for underwater. 4,500 lumens is plenty bright and probably more than most people will really need. They state low at 600 lumens, but to me it looks brighter than a few 700 lumen lights I have. Medium which is 1,800 lumens seems to be the sweet spot and is probably where most people will use the light. Overall this is a great light and I can't wait to take it out on more adventures.

Excellent All-Purpose Flashlight
I have not yet used this flashlight while diving as it’s still too cold where I live, so I can’t speak to its waterproofness. Pros: I was looking for a flashlight that I could use while diving, as well as for other activities during inclement weather such as hiking, walking, camping, and everyday use. This flashlight is very ergonomic and comfortable to hold and operate with one hand (rotary twist), has a very simple UI, has excellent flood and throw, uses a 90 CRI XHP70B 5000K led with a very nice tint, and has on-board USB-C charging of the single 21700 battery. It also includes a wrist lanyard and there are two o-rings at each disassembly point (head cap and tail cap). The head cap and tail cap are also very tight and somewhat difficult to unscrew, which makes me think that the flashlight will be water-tight. Cons: My biggest complaint with this flashlight is the brightness levels. The brightness levels are 600, 1800, and 4500 lumens (three total), and the lowest level is still very bright. I'd prefer to have five evenly-spaced brightness levels with two lower brightness levels (ex. 150, 300, 600, 1800, 4500 lumens), to be able to conserve battery life when needed. I’d also like the flashlight to include a pocket clip and/or belt holster for walking, hiking, and camping, as well as the ability to tail-stand. This flashlight is excellent overall and I like it very much. It is very bright, high CRI, simple and easy to use and carry, and has on-board usb-c charging. However I’d like to see additional lower brightness levels, an included pocket clip and/or belt holster, and the ability to tail-stand.

Waterproof flashlight of right size and for any weather
I previously purchased a Wurkkos flashlight and was impressed with its performance. When I needed another flashlight for outdoor use, I decided to look for a waterproof option. I came across this dive flashlight and decided to give it a try. The size and weight are just right for me, and the brightness is excellent, covering a large area—making it a great work light as well. To test its waterproofing, I submerged it in water for several hours, and it performed flawlessly. The switch ring appears to use a magnetic mechanism, as I was able to turn it on with an external magnet. This non-contact switch design ensures it remains completely watertight. The flashlight comes with a 5000mAh battery, which should provide a long runtime. I left it on underwater for several hours but didn’t have the patience to wait until the battery fully drained. Based on the manual, it should run for over five hours without issue. Overall, this is a highly reliable flashlight that performs well in any weather or situation. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a durable, waterproof light.

A really nice light, but a bit floodier than expected (not a bad thing!)
I really like this light! I got the 2700k version, and the beam is really floody, soft, and warm. It's a really pleasant all-purpose beam to use around the house and for basic tasks. While I'm not a diver, I'm confident in its ability to withstand being underwater for extended periods of time. I tested it by dropping it in a glass of water, and it had absolutely no issues after leaving it on underwater for a little while. There is no UI with this light - instead, it's an easy-to-use ring switch system that gives you low, medium, and high brightness levels. For its size, it kicks out an impressive amount of light on high! It's very compact, which is definitely appreciated, and the full-metal body feels really sturdy. It uses a 21700 battery that comes included, but it also has a sleeve that allows you to use an 18650 instead. Overall, this is a really good package deal for the money. You get a lot of stuff in the box, and it includes everything you need to get it running. It's got the light, the battery, a charger, a wrist strap, extra O-rings, and that 18650 adapter, so it's a solid value. I like this light a lot, and I'll definitely be using it a lot for random tasks. Before you pull the trigger though, I would recommend doing a bit of comparison shopping with similar lights. While this is a great one, Wurkkos makes some other diving lights that are throwier at the cost of a cooler and narrower beam. If you're looking for a wide, soft beam with lots of flood at the cost of some long-distance throw, this is a great pick for you. I definitely recommend it, but make sure it suits your needs first as they have lots of options.

Simple but Powerful Dive Light
Here are some highlights of the Wurkkos DL30 as a non-diver: 1. Fantastic build quality for the price. Thick anodizing, sturdy feeling construction, thick front glass, dual O-rings at the head and tail, and battery springs at the head and tail. 2. Very very very simple operation. The light has a rotary style dial that has 4 positions: off -> low -> med -> high/turbo. It does not get more simple than that. 3. The light produced is bright with a good balanced beam. The larger head with a relatively larger/deeper reflector allows for a reasonable amount of throw. The DL30 uses 3x Samsung LH351D emitters that are naturally on the floody side. When all is said and done you get a good solid high output, high CRI beam. Do note, the Samsung LH351D’s are known to have a slight green tint. 4. This light includes every accessory you could possibly need. A high capacity 21700 battery, an underwater wrist-lanyard, 2x spare O-rings, an 18650 battery adapter, a USB-C to A charging cable, and a 18650/21700 battery charger. 5. Wurkkos as a brand deliveries phenomenal lights at an even more phenomenal price point. They never fail to deliver an amazing budget light and the DL30 is certainly no exception. 6. The DL30 advertises high levels of water resistance, thermal protection, and standard low voltage protection. I have no reason to believe their claims are false. Wurkkos is easily the best budget dive light brand on the market— and arguably the best budget light brand in general too. 7. There does not appear to be a magnet in the tail if that’s something you desire. 8. There is not an onboard charging solution (USB-C). You must remove the battery to replace or recharge it. I do NOT see this as a problem because of the fact that the DL30 is advertised for diving and under water related activities. An onboard charging port would be a point of entry for water or debris ingress. In conclusion, this is an amazing light for the price with no flaws or drawbacks as far as I can tell.
