I am using this adapter with my MacBook, and it works absolutely well. I tested data transfer using the adapter with USB 3.0 to a Crucial X10 1TB SSD, and it worked well with a speed of 1 GB/s. Also, I tested 800 Mbps speed with an Ethernet cable, and it's surprisingly good. Overall, this product is worth it. Good build quality, metal body, and looks premium.

I got the usb hub a month ago and used just twice for connecting to an external display. Both instances the hub had heating issues and stopped working the second time. To make matters worse there is no warranty on the product. I now own an expensive brick.

I choosed ugreen so that it would not get hot. But it is getting very hot. Due to which the battery of Mac will also discharge quickly.Build quality is good but heating issue is a concern.

Instable connection for wireless mouse and keyboard. Heats extremely. Doesn’t justify cost. Similar performance problems i faced with amazon basics so i shifted to this but ni relief. My friend has Anker and it works best for all purposes

When I use the hub regularly for display and ethernet together the hub heats up and hangs up my laptop. I overcame this by using a usb fan under the hub.

The connect cable is a bit short. On the table it "wobbles"a bit so i stick 4 rubber feet under it, also it scratches the table a bit and with the feets under it, it doesn't anymore. I use this on my chromebook, now I can charge it and don't lost a usb port on this way, the cardreader is fast, some cards can't be read with my Lenovo Chromebooks ( connection lost after a while ) but with the ugreen it stays connected all the time. It is very easy to switch files between my phone ( samsung) and Chromebooks. Sometimes my cable connection fals down and I wasn't able to switch the lights out because they all use internet,I was able to connect my phone gsm network to it and use the ethernet port on it to my router, so I use my phones 4G plan as a backup connection, the ethernet port supports gigabit ! I now use 3 of them !

Idéal pour des appareils ayant une manque flagrant de connectivités comme les macbooks récents. Il a tendance à chauffer mais cela reste raisonnable et il refroidit très vite aussi.
