It is sturdy. Works perfectly. What more could I ask ...so it gets five stars. Love that it has both 1/4 inch and xlr sends. It is the perfect length. It was great to find a snake shorter than 100 or 50 feet. Perfect for my needs , as I use a Mackie board run remotely by an Ipad anywhere in the room. So I only need a short snake on stage to keep things neat and organized. I needed 1/4 sends as that is all my board supports, but It's nice to have the choice of both xlr and 1/4 sends in case I want to use it for my other board in the studio as well. Tested all channels. All work and have great signals with no noticable noise. It has a handle for easy handling, and it can be hung up as well. It is great for the price. I will only be using it a few times a year so I didn't need a super expensive snake.

I have an 18 foot deep band room and it is so nice not walking over cables. Works great and no noise. Heavily made. This is not junk. Priced right. You can't go wrong.

Bought this to connect my drum set to my mixing board on the other side of the studio. I've only had it up and running a couple weeks at this point, but everything seems to be working great. I love that the returns can be XLR or TRS - right now I'm only using a single TRS which is perfect for my studio application to return a stereo monitor mix back to my drums for headphones. There does not appear to be any line noise or signal loss, and I love that now all the cables off my kit just plug into this snake and really cleans up the whole area. It can even be hung on the wall, which I intend to do. I'll have to try to remember to revisit this review in a year with an update but for now, happy as can be.

The good sound system

This is actually a 24 channel snake, the 16 input channels and (8) AUX returns with both XLR and 1/4 plugs on each. This unit is as solid as they can be at any price, let alone for this cheap, and it has lots of quality HD touches to it like pull-brades, clear lettered labeling and color coding on each IN/OUT line to make it easy to trace back. Only interface item is the stenciled white lettering that labels each plug on the box is confusing since the # starts after the plug instead of ahead of it. A white paint pen with outside brackets for each row to group them visually fixes that problem.
