I have used this to sharpen the 9 carbide teeth on my stump grinder twice so far. It works as it should. While it does wear down faster than a normal grinding wheel, I should be able to get several more sharpenings before it is too small to use.

Saw vids of a guy using similar wheels that wore down fast was concerned so I bought two! I sharpened twenty two carbide stump grinder cutter bits and got just a little dust!! I was totally impressed. Thanks …..

Badly out of round causing excessive vibration. I had to dress them down to get them to run true. Should not have to dress new stones if they are quality stones. I would not recommend these.

I was a little reluctant to purchase this wheel after reading some of the negative reviews, particularly regarding balance but I am very pleased with this grinding wheel. Perhaps there is some inconsistency in manufacturing (not sure) but the wheel I got was better balanced than any of the others I have. I sharpened several carbide drill bits and a few router bits and it worked great. I will purchase again.
