These are higher end and very sturdy/thicker. They make a very nice appearance for a party or shower. They are quite pretty, and because of the neutral color they blend well with pretty much any party decor or theme. They are a little on the pricy side but you could actually wash and use again if you wanted. I didn't do this but I feel like yiu could re-use them more than once if you wanted to. Perfect for my last two get togethers - a baby shower and a Christmas gathering.

These are the most beautiful plastic dishes ever! I first bought these (with gold, plastic flatware) for a ladie's luncheon at my home a few years ago. Everyone marveled at their beauty and some insisted I wash them and keep them! These are strong enough for all foods. My daughter-in-law served Thanksgiving dinner on these, and they were elegant and perfect.They might appear to be thin, but they are plenty strong. I want to point out that the beautiful "filigree" around the perimeter of the dish, does have holes in it, and any gravy, etc, could pass through it. We didn't have a problem with our Thanksgiving dinner, but I thought the reader should be aware of this. It certainly is a beautiful plate. If you chose to wash and re-use them, they would hold up well.

Used for a Ladies' Lunch. Just formal enough to elevate the lunch, but informal enough to make all guests feel comfortable. Goes with all linen colors. Wish the silverware were slightly heavier to keep folded napkins weighted down. Love the gold rim on the clear glasses.

Love the plates I have order 5 boxes of plate for my daughters wedding. Some of the plates are cracked when arrived. So for me to send back is really not worth sending back when you have to drive 40 miles one way to an ups store. So my advice is to order extra cause the chances are there will be some cracked.

Like other reviewers wrote- these do look like real china on the table. I used them at Christmas for our family dinner and everyone thought it was china, not plastic. The plates are very sturdy. I even kept a few to wash and reuse. I will be ordering these for all our family gatherings. I wish they made more colors/prints/designs. I use white and gold for Easter and would love to see these in a Christmas design/print/color. I highly recommend. Great value and quality for the price.

Used these for an engagement party. Went with a gold and white color scheme and these were perfect. We served a lot of food and these stood up to all that was piled onto them. Originally ordered some from Party City but returned them because they weren’t as pretty. So glad I found these - made the table look soooo pretty!

These are the best disposable plates I ever purchased! These have a beautiful and elegant design and exceeded my expectations. At first glance, they look just like a regular plate. They held up quite well for my holiday meal, and none of my guests wanted me to throw these away! Hence, I will keep these for future large gatherings, as I don't have enough plates, let alone matching plates, for a large group anyway..
