Genuinely impressed with this kit, the screen protectors fit perfectly, the rubber case has all the “holes” in the right places, the lens cap and strap are just great ideas, but the best thing of all is the new battery door with access to the charging port. Why don’t GoPro provide that as standard? I need to test if new door is fully waterproof, but for the price this is an essential kit to protect your investment. Great value for money, and easy to fit and use, and appears to be of high quality and well made. Good stuff!

My main requirement was the battery cover allowing me to set the camera up for time lapse recording via an external supply. The battery cover was extremely easy to install and apart from as we know, not being waterproof. The lock mechanism works as easily as the original, plus on top of this, there is of course a very easy to open rubber cover allowing a USB C cable to be plugged in to the camera while the battery door is closed. The Silicone case first snugly on the Hero 12 and can still be used when using the camera with an external power supply and there are even two lens caps included, one just for the camera alone and a second which fits on the silicone case to cover the lens when the camera is in the case, and a simple cord is included so the lens cap is hooked to the case so the lens cap won't be lost.

The silicone cover fits perfectly and seems good quality, the lens cap does not fit snugly, so may fall off :/

Of course this shouldn't be necessary if gopro did a decent job of designing in usability in the first place but I thought this was a pretty comprehensive kit of improvements to the practicality of the gopro. The ability to attach a lanyard is pretty important for an action camera and this has probably already paid for itself. (I really can't believe this should be necessary to add on as an aftermarket mod!) The little door to access the USB socket is invaluable but does defeat the waterproofing, the door itself feels a bit flimsy but the basic problem is the poor original gopro design. The screen protectors were easy to fit and the case itself is a must-have. All told, I recommend this as a worthwhile set of add-ons to deal with the design shortcomings of the Hero camera.

Bought this product to try and prevent scrapes/scratches - don’t need a heavy duty case. Silicone casing fits perfectly (mic/speaker etc), everything as described came with. I haven’t replaced the battery casing so can’t comment on that. Very happy with product/price paid

Met my expectations

I wanted some screen protectors, a case and the door for a cable and this was a compromise way to get this as a set and for a reasonable price - nothing earth shatteringly good or bad about the kit - it's fine - but I am sure there may be better (and probably higher priced) equivalents Case goes on and off OK - but it needs to be removed to open the battery door. I had the GoPro in the Silcone case and for some filming indoors and it actually overheated. Not sure whether it would have done anyway being inside, or whether this case caused it to overheat - but shall be more careful next time when using the case and consider the environmental conditions
