It's good quality, looks sturdy, has nice ironing cushion. 4 star for size - it is for small people. I'm 5'2, but still find it low. if you pull it to its highest, it goes wobbly. Width and length of the board itself is quite small too. Cute little cardboard guide for folding was a fun touch!

Das Bügelbrett steht stabil und rutschfest. Einfach in der Bedienung. Durch den klappbaren Bügel steht das Bügeleisen fast aufrecht so daß es nicht ständig dampft. Habe in den Läden nur Bügelbretter von Leifheit gefunden die allesamt gewackelt haben. Brabantia jederzeit wieder.

Review of the Brabantia Ironing Board A in Blue Denim I purchased the Brabantia Ironing Board A in blue denim on sale. When it arrived, the box was a bit damaged, but the contents appeared to be intact and undamaged. However, after setting up the ironing board, I noticed a metal piece on the floor that looked like a metal button. At first, I thought it had come from our clothing. A few days later, still unable to determine where this metal button came from, we realised it was from the ironing board itself. The metal piece wasn't a button but turned out to be a “push cap” for a bolt. There is a central pivot shaft that is crucial for the opening and closing mechanism of the board. The push cap keeps the shaft from falling out of the legs, which are at either end. The metal push cap was missing on one side. I could have reattached the push cap, but I felt it might become loose again, potentially causing problems over time. I opted for a return. Given that this ironing board is more expensive than other brands, I expected better manufacturing standards, especially for a product that comes with a 10-year warranty. General Impressions: Overall, the ironing board is good, but there are a few things to consider. Size:The tabletop area is a little narrower than my old ironing board. However, when folded, this ironing board stands taller, so comparing just the ironing area isn't entirely useful when making a purchasing decision. The folded height of ironing boards can vary between manufacturers. Table Top: The underside of the board is made of metal mesh, which is great for allowing steam to flow through. However, I noticed that I could easily push the metal mesh down with my fingers, requiring very little force. I’m unsure if this was intentionally designed to flex, but when I compared it to my old ironing board (which was 25 years old), the mesh on that one wouldn't budge. I suspect the material used today isn’t as robust as in the past. Cover: The cover is made of denim looking material, except it is thin normal cloth. Underneath the cover is a sponge. The cover wasn’t fitted as tightly as it should be. Additionally, in one of the photos of the underside of the board, it appears to show an elastic pulling the iron cover tight from the underside, but that was missing. I wonder if they have changed the design? The ironing board cover has a stitched “label” that reads "Brabantia - A." While this is useful if you need to order a replacement cover, I didn’t like it because the label can leave a mark on clothing, especially on thin fabrics. Conclusion: The product is reasonably okay. However, I’m unhappy that I now have to waste a whole day at home for the courier to pick up the item for a return and print off return labels. Normally, for smaller items, I could simply drop them off myself at the post office. It would have received 4 stars, had the item arrived in perfect order. I hope my review has been helpful.
