Gold Floor Lamp with Marble Base

Such a great lamp. Easy to assemble inside of maybe 15 minutes going slowly. Lamp shade assembles with little tiny clips, finished with an end of Velcro. Easy enough. Looks fantastic. So many things to like about it, stable marble base, cord placement inconspicuous, quality, style. Love the lighting options, high or low with pull. Easy to adjust height. Very pleased with this purchase.

I want to give this five stars, I do love it, it is elegant and sturdy, but read this before you open your package. The lampshade is easily assembled because the round metal rims snap into the clips, so don’t try to open the clip yourself. It will snap just fine. After you do the top and bottom clips the shade edges Velcro together. Also, the cord doesn’t hide under the base (tho an electrician can snip it and reattach, seems accessible to go under) it is exposed over the base. At the highest it does not give off much light; if you are willing to forgo the dimming feature, a 100 lightbulb is much better light, so I would not get the gray shade. Undo/lock the extension handle for the top pipe to be free to screw in.

I was a little skeptical about how this would look based on the price but it's perfect. Assembly was a cinch and it looks great. The shade looks surprisingly good considering you have to assemble that as well. The dimmest level is ideal for a night light and the brightest level is good for reading. My husband even raved about it and he never cares about this kind of thing.

Assembles pretty easily (one side of the shade was a lot harder to get the clips on the rim) and looks decent considering the pole is made up of screw-in segments. I like the marble base. The lamp is really too dim though, even on its brightest setting. And the "three way" is a pita - you have to pull the chain six times to cycle through all the settings. I wouldn't use it for the main lamp in my room, but it's fine in a corner next to a small chair.

This lamp came in a small box. I was surprised. Its lamp shade has to be assembled and I was sceptical, but once assembled it was really nice! Lamp itself is sturdy and works well. The height is adjustable which worked great. I recommend this product! Love it!!!
