DANYCO Car Desk 20101 Mobile Workstation with Removable Clip Board

My job duties find me increasingly working in the field. This loves me too. Take notes and use my small laptop in the car comfortably. Others have commented that the platform angle slants in the wrong direction but I find that the angle is perfect for how my arm falls against it while writing. The surface is a bit slippery when using the laptop. I put a small piece of “non-slip grip liner” from the Dollar store under the laptop and this is all I need to use the laptop comfortably. I roll it up and store it in the cup holder base. I did not expect to be but I am really satisfied with this.

when I saw this, I said "AHA! Just what I've been looking for!!" unfortunately, it doesn't work as I hoped. I need some kind of writing surface that I can jot down quick notes while I'm in the field. The middle console and the steering wheel don't work well. This desk is not tall enough to clear the console, so must sit much further forward in the gap, and therefore will not stay in place. I will be returning it. Like the concept, but it doesn't work in my vehicle :(

works good but taking it in and out from between the seats can wear down the slide mounts to where the desk part easy comes off when handling. dont use the rubber stickys that come with it, they will just bust off when you install this between the seat and the console. i dont recommend this vehicles with wide consoles because youll never reach it to write on.

I absolutely love this thing. So awesome for holding my paper stray in the car when I take a meeting or have an idea. Or jot down my to do list. Obviously when I’m not driving 🫣

Sad indeed, say in the car less than 48 hrs and rubber matt on top cracked quarter inch gaps throughout the entire matt. You cannot write on that! Concept is nice, design isn't terrible. The engineering and make is completely terrible!!!

A very good concept. We bought a new car and it didn't give a place for my wide coffee cup so my wife was thrilled when she found this product on Amazon. It worked great, cup stayed in place while driving. After getting in my car after work one day I noticed the top of the board looked different. Upon closer inspection I noticed the non skid part had peeled up at the corners and the rest of the surface had small splits and holes in it. The heat in the car may have been a factor. Very pleased with company about returning item.

I am using this as a place to keep notes while working in my car. Gives me a great place to write on a sturdy surface.

It’s pretty much what I needed and wanted for the car desk, affordable but it’s cheaply made. Just wanted to let you know that a single day in the car in sunlight caused damage to the rubber grip surface and ruined the aesthetic character of the car desk. I would love a replacement but won’t ship this back first before getting the replacement because I need it for work.
