It looks awesome, has many features, is very accurate, and I'm sure this watch will last decades from what I've heard. I think this is probably the best watch you can buy, based on functionality and reliability (can't comment on how long it will last, but from what I've heard G-Shocks are incredibly durable and last 15-20, and even longer. The only real thing to ask yourself before buying this watch is: do I like how it looks? I personally love it. I love this kind of retro-digital kind of style. I also think this watch can be adapted to pretty much any form of attire, except from maybe very formal kind of attire. Even then, I have seen it adapted in some cases. It's not too chunky, but it looks like it can take a beating. FIT: As for the fit of this watch, for reference see the image I have attached. I have a small wrist. My wrist is only 6 inches. Despite this, the watch fits well on my wrist. If you have a small wrist like me, you won't have to worry about this watch looking too big for your wrist. Most people have around a 6.5-7 inch wrist. I have seen video reviews and whatnot, and it seems to look great on medium-large wrists just as well. So, in short, no need to worry about the fit of the watch! No problems with anything so far, and the battery arrived at high charge, which is great. If yours arrives on low charge, make sure to place it in front of a window for 3 or 4 days to let it charge up to at least medium charge. From then on, you can pretty much forget about it. The watch should constantly remain on high charge by you just wearing it. However, make sure you do charge it up if it arrives on low charge. I have seen a complaint about someone whose watch died in a short time. This is most likely because it arrived on low charge, and the person didn't realise so they just wore it normally from day one. I know it might be inconvenient, but it's a one time thing to do, for decades of use. You can probably expect to have to replace the battery 10-15 years down the line (only if it starts not being able to hold charge efficiently). By then, you'll probably have bought more G-Shocks, but it's nice to know either way. The takeaway is: I strongly recommend this watch. It is often described as 'the only watch you'll ever need' and I completely agree with that. This watch is perfect, unless you don't like its aesthetic. In that case, there are plenty of other G-Shocks that are just as great, with a different look. If you don't like the digital aspect of it, there are also quartz gshocks available.

When you buy a G-Shock watch you expect it to be oversized, over built and generally massive. This one isn’t . So much so that I was ready to send it back and had got as far as putting in the box with a returns label. But I’d read in several places that it can take a bit of getting used too as this G Shock can initially feel and look far too small and not what you expect from one, so I gave it another chance. I’m glad I did as it turns out it’s quite possibly the perfect digital watch. It doesn’t need a battery change for a good long while being solar powered, accurate to the second due to the radio control setting the time each day and small and light enough that you forget you’re even wearing it. Seems as well made as any other G shock too and has the usual specs such as alarm, chronograph, timer and world time. Price is pretty reasonable at around £90 for something that you can put on, bash it about, get it wet and forget about until it you need it. I genuinely can’t fault this watch. Give it a chance even if it does seem too small to start with.

The resilience of G-shock is well known. This watch adds to this comfort and ease of reading in all conditions. The watch arrived very well protected in foam padding, inside a metal G-shock box. The watch is lightweight and reasonably thin that makes it sit well on ny wrist, even whilst wearing thicker winter clothing. The strap is soft and has a small shock absorbing section next to the watch attachments. On receipt, the watch was fully charged and set to European time (ie GMT +1). This was changed to GMT in 30 seconds by resetting the home city. It was also easy to adjust the date format to dd/m from the preset m/dd. The enclosed instruction manual clearly explains how to make these adjustments. The buttons are quite small but operable with bare fingers. They are shielded in recesses in the body which reduces the likelihood of accidental operation, but this makes them difficult to use whilst wearing gloves. The beeper is very quiet which limits the effectiveness of the alarm function. The stop-watch function is easily operated and measures up to 24 hours. A single button press operates a backlight that is bright and even. The solar and radio control functions are so effective that no battery or time/date adjustment is ever necessary (unless traveling abroad). After the initial set-up, this can simply be worn and relied on as an exceptional timepiece. Fantastic value.

If you don’t own a gshock square then this is the model to choose. A very worthy addition to my small watch collection. This upgraded model (indicated by the “U” within its serial number) offers those extra quirks that otherwise won’t be found in its predecessors, making it good value for money. It’s not a large chunky gshock either. I have quite large wrists and it wears slightly small to what I’m used to, with the strap length also being a little small, but does fit. This will wear proudly on an average wrist size. You can’t but admire its simplicity and reliability. It came well packaged and the delivery from the seller was speedy. I wholeheartedly reccomend.

I absolutely love this Casio G shock, ever since I bought it, it’s been my go to everyday watch. I barely touch my watch box anymore because I just wear this one all the time. The solar powered battery is a huge plus, so no worrying about replacements. The lift to light feature is brilliant, I love this and world time came in super handy on my recent trips, I didn’t have to reset the watch when flying across time zones. The multiband sync keeps the time accurate automatically (though it’s not available everywhere, like when I went to India on a recent trip, it works perfectly in the UK). The Casio vintage design looks amazing, the build quality is rugged and sturdy, and I’ve received a lot of compliments on it. Honestly, I have zero complaints, it’s versatile, reliable, and stylish enough to wear with any outfit. Totally worth every penny. The watch arrived on time and was packaged really well, so no issues with delivery at all.
