I know there were a number of reviews saying the sharpener failed. I swapped out the small pencil sharpener for the larger pencil sharpener, which comes with the sharpener. Sharpened a regular #2 pencil and it worked great. My only complaint was not being able to figure out how to swap the 2 sharpening ends. Turns out you just have to pull, a little harder than I was comfortable with. But once I figured it out it worked and didn't appear to hurt the device.

I LOVE 💕 this little pencil sharpener! I used to have to carry them all down to the cellar. It would take me an hour to sharpen all my pencils, since I have over 100!! 😂 Not to mention that I never had much room to lay them down. I would drop a lot! Now it's in my room, no more trips down the stairs, and you barely have to push the pencil in to get it to sharpen. Two seconds and it's done! I definitely recommend this!

My kids use this all the time and it is very quick and easy to use. Great value

I've only had this sharpener a couple of months and it no longer works. I purchased it because the color matched my office but it is clearly not worth the money.

I bought this for drawing pencils. I am disappointed that is barely sharpens the pencils. It is worse with lead pencils. I will be ordering a better sharpener soon. I can't recommend this product.
