A Whimsy Girls Christmas Coloring Book: Festive Girls, Fairies, & More

I love all of Hannah Lynn's coloring books, but this is my favorite of hers. Of the Christmas coloring books that I have purchased, this one stands out above the rest. There are so many different, cute, Christmas related scenes to color. The images are loaded with detail. There is NO chance of becoming bored! I love how her line art is thicker than most. It is very forgiving, when I get a bit sloppy with my coloring. The images are printed on one side. So, with something placed between the pages, you can use markers.

This is my favorite of Hannah’s books so far! The pages just really get you into the holiday spirit. There is a lot of variety in the styles of the images too. Lovely coloring book!

I have a number of Hannah Lynn's coloring books and was really happy to find that she had recently released a Christmas inspired set of designs. She has put her cute girls in a variety of settings with everything from a Nativity to Rudolph to Santa and even a Sugar Plum fairy included. I really appreciate that Ms. Lynn included many traditional Christmas elements in her designs in this book. A number of the “Christmas” coloring books I've purchased recently were lacking in this regard. Ms. Lynn's book is a wonderful representation of both traditional and fantasy Christmas designs. The girls are set in full background designs which makes the project even more fun to color. The designs are detailed but not what I consider intricate with too small elements to color with standard coloring medium. This is what I discovered while coloring in this book and testing my coloring medium on the paper: 30 designs (2 copies of each) of Hannah Lynn's big eye girls in Christmas settings Printed one side of the page Paper is typical inexpensive quality used by CreateSpace: white, thin, slightly rough and non-perforated. The designs do not extend into the binding area. There is a double framing line at the outer edges. There is plenty of room to cut out pages if you choose to do so. Glue Binding Alcohol-based markers bleed through the page quickly. Water-based markers bleed through in spots. Gel pens and India ink pens leave shadows on back of the page. India ink can bleed through if you apply heavily or multiple coats. Coloring Pencils work well with this paper. I found that I could layers the same color for deeper pigment or multiple colors and I could blend easily using a blending stick. I tested both oil and wax based pencils. I also found that hard lead pencils leave dents through the paper. I like to use a blotter when working in the book. I use a page of card stock or several sheets of heavyweight paper under my working page. It keeps seeping ink and marring dents from ruining the pages below.

So in love with this book!! I bought 5 copies, giving some as gifts and keeping two for myself. Every picture is more beautiful than the in before! If you're looking for a good adult Christmas coloring book to purchase this is definitely the one to buy! I literally can't wait to get home from work to color in it. Helps relieve my stress and anxiety. Hannah's art work is truly a wonderful gift to the world. Be sure to check out her other amazing books. I have them all and they are amazing!

Love this artist and this book is amazing I did notice something a little odd every picture has two but the um let call it second to last picture it the first picture has a design on her sweater and what is supposed to be the copy of the picture she doesn’t have a design on her sweater everything else is the same and I still love the book just thought I would bring it up

These pages are absolutely beautiful! Every page is gorgeous , everything you could want in a Christmas book. I love that there is 2 copies of each, my daughter has been coloring in video chat with her grama since Covid started and she loves these girls, so many options . I like the paper nice and thick pure white pages just wish they tore out easier. I will be buying more of these books!

Once again, I have nothing but good things to say about the adorable, big eyed girls given to us by Hannah Lynn. What I really love about this book is that each image is duplicated. That might be a draw back to some but to a mom of 2 girls, its a god send! Lol! No more bickering over who gets to color which picture, they each get their own and I don't have to run to our photo copier each time making doubles of every page. The only reason that this did not get 5 stars is because the paper seems to be of a different quality than it is in her other coloring books. The paper is stiffer, rougher, thicker (not qualify thicker though), and dryer. It sucks up the ink and bleeds and causes streaking even with my alcohol based copic markers. I haven't tried my water color pencils on it yet but I'll add to the review when I do. It's possible I just got an off book, but I can absolutely tell a difference between books.

Very well made love the fact that these have two of every picture. You really get more than your moneys worth with Hannah Lynn. I immediately started coloring in this book and find it a lot easier to color than some of the other adult coloring books. Her drawings are so beautiful its a adult coloring fans must have! The only negative part would be the eyes as they can be a bit tricky to color properly.
