I bought the PNY 64GB Elite-X Fit USB 3.1 Flash Drive to run UnRAID on my home server, and it has been fantastic.First, it is fast enough to do whatever the server needs it to do. With a fast read speed of 200MB/s, it's been incredibly responsive and efficient. The 64GB capacity is more than I need, but it's nice to have the extra space.Since UnRAID runs off the USB drive, I need to keep this plugged in. Since it is small, I don't have to worry about it getting hit and broken. Highly recommended for anyone needing a reliable, high-speed USB drive!

Major speed boost compared to a generic usb 2.0 memory stick. Using this PNY usb 3.1 memory in an old Windows 8 laptop for a Chrome OS Flex dual boot. Needed to continue to have access to the DVD drive for offline playing commercial DVDs, something that is not supported in Chrome OS. Thus the dual boot so I could feel secure using internet on the Chrome OS install.The install had actually failed during login using generic usb 2.0 memory, leaving me to only be able to run it in a crippled state as a Guest. Kind of bummed out, so just out of curiosity I tried this PNY usb 3.1 stick, and not only did the install AND LOGIN work, it is very usable. Very little wait when interacting with the OS on a laptop from 2013. So happy and for $9! Always thought the usb 2.0 hardware would be a bottleneck, thus no reason to use usb 3.1 memory but I am happy to report that I was definitely wrong! :)Love the size, just wish it had an led activity light. I know it’s possible because my Bluetooth dongle of similar size has a light.Buying 2 more for a couple of other old family laptops that I can repurpose with a dual boot of Chrome OS Flex. PS: the reviews about the plastic cover being tight enough to pull this apart are spot on. It’s on there tight. I heeded the warning and carefully removed the plastic piece putting as little stress as I could on the black plastic part. What were they thinking? Very bad design. Such a shame for an otherwise pretty good item.

Bought this to transfer 300 CD's to after ripping them so I can listen to them in the car. This came formatted in large FAT32 which is what I needed for the car. Would recommend. Going to buy a larger one for my Cadillac CTS-V that I'm installing a Tesla style Android radio in. Waiting to see the maximum size I can use. Bought an 8 core with the ability for up to 256gb, but we'll see if that is true. If it is I will buy this in a 256gb size, if not then I'll get the maximum I can use in it from this brand.It is really small and that is what I liked, so the drive doesn't get knocked around from hanging out of the dash too far.
