Okay, somewhere in the clouds of Amazon is a review I wrote about Zareba standoff insulators. If I could find it I'd copy and paste it right dab here!!! But, it's being approved right now and I'm in a mad review-writing catchup phase so...I won't copy and paste it. Let it suffice to say that these insulators are probably the best out there. Solid, durable, strong, and a purdy yeller color.<grin> Seriously, I've got lots of them that are 7+ years old and have survived the south Alabama sun. Definitely good to have extras around (I sometimes get to close to the fence with my zero-turn mower...oops!!!). Very inexpensive, but high quality!!! Happy to say that these worked great but after five bags I will definitely admit that not all of them were easy to install. I pinched my fingers multiple times before using a screw driver. Fits right onto the post nice and snug, I couldn’t be happier with the results. For about $.35 a piece I’d say they are absolutely a good buy!!

They are plastic, but they are strong and holding up well so far.

When first mounting these on a T post I broke 13 pieces and decided to stop. Thinking about the next day I realized that a little help would be in order. I got hold of a very stiff and thin putty knife and was able to pry/slide them all into place without damaging a single one out of 3-1/2 bags of insulators. Problem solved and they are holding the wire as they should and fit well on all of the different T post that I have.
