Kona Cotton Cardinal, Fabric by the Yard

I've ordered Kona Cotton fabric in varying colors multiple times. This is my standby fabric when I need to do fill-ins or sashing on quilts that I'm constructing. Tightly woven and always of consistent color, it handles beautifully with minimal fraying (considering that it's cotton). For this particular color, I needed a blue that was as close to the color of a man's blue oxford shirt, since I was making a quilt out of old men's shirts, some of which were Brooks Brothers button-down collar oxfords in traditional light-blue oxford color. I lacked enough to make a border sashing for the quilt, so I took a chance on this particular color. On target! The shade was nearly a perfect match (although a bit more tightly woven fabric) that complimented the quilt. I could not be more pleased. I would not hesitate to order any Kona Cotton, but this one has tickled my fancy because it's such a wonderful color -- and precisely what I needed.

This seller shipped super fast, which I needed because I needed just one more yard to be able to finish a quilt. Kona is high quality quilter's cotton fabric, and I highly recommend it. The eggshell color is a creamy color with hints of yellow and brown and looks great with turquoise, greens, blues, purples, and yellows.

This fabric is such a beautiful color and it feels rich. I cannot wait to see the quilt that I am planning to make with this. I am a happy customer.

I was working on a Christmas quilt for next Christmas. I had purchased some of this fabric at a shop in town, but mis-judged how much I would need. The shop did not have any more and I was desperate. I purchased it without "feeling" it or seeing it in my hands. The color match was terrific and the "feel" of the fabric was identical. I am very happy with this purchase of Robert Kaufman Kona Cotton Dark Forest Green Fabric.

I had been sewing face masks and ran out of solid white cotton and linen fabric. I decided to sew a few more masks, for inclusion in Christmas packages for relatives. I bought small cuts of this, in case I needed some amount of white and off-white cotton, not expecting much due to the price. WOW! The fabric is a very good thickness and weight, and has a nice “hand”. Certainly comfortable enough to have against your face in a face mask. I was amazed, because 100% is usually well over $10 a yard. I laundered it to pre-shrink it, and there was a minimal amount of raveling on the raw edges. Thank you! It saved me dealing with going into a fabric store!
