So glad that my days of looking for the perfect ID badge has finally come to an end! This item met all the criteria that I was looking for: - black lanyard without thick straps - black id holder (so I can have my ID in the front and my other cards stashed in the back) - simple retractable reel design without it looking too clunky This product looked even better in person than what I was expecting. Highly recommended!

have had this badge/ID holder for over 3 years and it has held up really great. The retractable thing lasted for about 1 year which is pretty standard for them. But the leather badge part has not blemishes at all. The only reason I am shopping for a new one is that the clear window thing is yellowing a little and I have got marks or scratches on it. But other than that I think its lasted long enough.

Broke within a week Update: Company reached out to me and sent a replacement. Replacement arrived within days and customer service rep was polite and seemed genuinely willing to resolve my issue. For their gesture I’ve changed my review. Thanks again

I thought I originally ordered the black leather but I guess I ordered the clear in a rush. That's on me, no biggie. The clear works fine and the lanyards and reels are in good shape and I like the finish. I'm glad it was a 2-pack because the snap on one of the fasteners will not work/snap together. Overall for the price, I got what I wanted/needed. There was also a personal note inside which was nice.

I bought this badge holder because it's made of genuine leather, not the common plastic or PU leather I saw in other products. I want something simple but not cheap looking. And I'm very happy with my purchase. The material feels good and is well made, stitching is even and complete, with a thick and large clear viewing window. The lanyard is made of ribbon, soft and comfortable for wearing. I like that there's a retractable reel on the lanyard, which is really useful for daily using. For the durability I can't comment on that yet but it appears to be durable. I will update later if necessary.

Its cute, I like that you can attach so many things on it! Worth the price!

It's too long, so I had to make an adjustment to make it slightly shorter, but the biggest issue is the front slide-in - it somehow loosened up to wear my ID badge was sliding up and out, when I only put it in there once and never took it out. I do like the other side, that seemed to stay tight despite that being the part from which I'd removed my other badge daily. It's good quality in other ways and looks professional.
