Works as it is advertised as a replacement remote contrl for Sony DVD players, even units that are over 10 years old! A good solid remote contrl that appears to have a solid build and compatability. We have purchased two of these units and have had no issues with pairing them with the DVD players we purchsed them for, and they're a "no brainer," very easy to use.

So happy I found this, rather than all the complicated things out there now! I have one item to use. My DVD player by Sony. I put in the batteries and nothing else needed. No complicate codes, ect It works, need nothing else! Thank you Sony for keeping it simple!

Good replacement

This remote arrived a day earlier than expected. So easy to use we put the batteries in and voila it worked I was so afraid I was going to have to figure out how to program it to my player.

Hallelujah! I am so thrilled with this purchase. I wish i had bought it months ago when i first found it. My original remote is old, i know. I can't recall how old the DVD player is now because its really very old but the player still works fine. The remote, however, started having button issues last year. Using all of buttons i actually needed was a workout. Pressing stop was the worst. it took every ounce of finger strength to press it enough for it to stop. i dreaded it every time. I cleaned it with rubbing alcohol but no improvement. From the moment right after i swapped batteries and started a dvd, i knew i made a great purchase. No programming, just press power and play. I think its better than the OEM remote. The value is amazing. Thank you!!
