how do i use it ? is it safe for any car ?

I use it in combination with Marvel Mystery oil to make an fuel system cleaner. 5 parts MM to 1 part Heet. Works well in 3 cars I own - 2 Japanese and 1 German made.

Red bottle versus yellow bottle?

I hope 5 years later David was able to find a new job. You can use this in any gasoline or diesel engine. The difference is the ISO (red bottle) contains isopropyl alcohol. The yellow bottle contains methanol. Isopropyl alcohol evaporates faster therefore removing the water faster. Methanol is better at lowering the water's freezing point. They both do both but just different ways.

Can I use these in my Yamaha outboard?

Yes, any motor,engine that runs on gasoline, I used it on a snow blower

Isopropyl vs methanol Heet for removing water, one combine the water so it can be burned out, the other does not. Anybody know which one?

At one point isopropyl was the only one recomended for fuel injected and other engines. I think it has less acidity than ethanol and methanol. It is the only one I keep in stock because it's safe and effective in all engines. I don't have to worry about someone using the wrong one.
