Great design, functionality and sound quality.
I was a bit skeptical at first, but these are really a great product! At first, I tried them in my home studio and got a little interference. Probably due to my WiFi router being too close. I really purchased them to use at gigs because I use 3 different guitars and I hated the cables and having to purchase abc switch pedals. These solved the problem. The battery stays strong during a 3 hour gig and I have yet to encounter any interference. Easy to set up and switching guitars is a breeze. I just hit the button and pause the connection when switching out. Other guitarists have inquired and purchased a set on my recommendation. The charging storage case is genius. I highly recommend these. Great build quality and great design.

Best wireless guitar system in this price range, period!
I’ve been using the Nux 5.8GHz wireless guitar system for almost a year now with my Taylor acoustic 214CE (uses an active pickup) and it has worked flawlessly. For my Stratocaster I use an Xvive system and both guitars are played at rehearsals and live gigs. As far as going wireless, I’ll never go back to cables again. I’d originally purchased two Xviv units - one for each guitar, but the Xvive sounded awful on the Taylor - all top end, shrill and tinny, without any low end. I immediately returned it and kept the other Xvive for the Strat which seemed to sound OK, although I need to adjust the Strat’s neck or middle pickup tone knobs to compensate. After doing a ton of research on various mid-priced wireless units I discovered Nux. What a difference in sound quality - my Taylor acoustic sounded identical to a cable! Because Taylor guitars can be a bit top-end and trebley, the cable emulation switch on the Nux helps tame excessive thin-sounding notes by rolling off a bit of top end. It’s a subtle difference - simple adjustments to my guitar’s equalizer or the amp will produce similar results. A plus for Nux vs. Xvive - when I walk near a particular light switch in our rehearsal room while playing guitar, the Xvive makes a loud squeal while the Nux unit remains quiet. This might be due to the Xvive using 2.4GHz, but there’s no 2.4GHz devices in the room; the light switch is just a regular 110-120 AC switch so go figure. Maybe the Xvive circuitry is less shielded from electrical interference. Another plus for the Nux is the charging case; after a gig or rehearsal is over and the band is packed up, I simply press a button on the Nux case to start charging the transmitter/receiver inside the case and then dump the zipped up case into my carry bag; I don’t need to remember to charge it later. By the time I get home, the Nux is fully charged and ready to go, but not the Xvive. Gotta remember to charge it, sigh. The most important difference between the two units is tone quality; the Nux sounds the same as a cable but not the Xvive. In retrospect, I should have bought two Nux units and avoided Xvive altogether. When the Xvive eventually dies, I’ll replace it with a Nux.

So far, so great. This wireless unit worked superbly last weekend when I played at my church. Strong signal, no clicks or popping when I used the mute feature (which is essential between hymns and liturgy music)—flawless performance overall. No one realized that I wasn't using my previous setup at all. I didn't hear any loss in signal between my acoustic guitar and the amp. In fact, my wife thought the sound quality was better than playing through my normal D'Addario cable with mute switch (and that is a great, heavy-duty reliable cable with good signal and pure tone). I'm quite impressed. I have purchased other NUX products, and all of them have been reliable and high quality, so I am not surprised that this wireless system is working well. The battery life is long, and the storage container/charger are also well-designed. I highly recommend this unit.

Amazing Wireless System with one caveat...
This wireless system works amazing!!! The 5.8ghz channel ensures no drops what so ever and allows me to play with other guitarist and their wireless systems without any interference. The clarity is amazing and honestly I dont think ill ever use a cable unless I have to. I teach multiple bands made up of young students and this makes running around the practice area with my instrument a breeze. I can fiddle with the amps, adjust cymbals, or mess with the mixer without having to set my guitar down. The case is a huge plus, not to mention it has the ability to charge your system on the go. The battery life is perfect for a standard gig, but with the case you can charge between sets and never miss out on your wireless convenience. Such an amazing product for gigging musicians and teachers. Reason for the 4 star review is due to NUX not including a TS adapter. Word of warning, if you have an instrument with active pickups, there is a chance the transmitter will not work. Most active pickups are wired with a TRS input. The jack on the NUX system is also TRS, using the second sleeve on the jack to charge the device. This sadly means when plugging into your guitar, the transmitter will think that you're trying to charge the device and then shut off. Thankfully, a relatively cheap adapter will solve this issue. I got a TS 1/4" female to TS 1/4" male right angle adapter and it works perfectly fine. A plus is that this adapter still keeps the transmitter low profile. A big shame that NUX had not thought to include an adapter, especially since it advertises that it works for passive and active guitars. Having to go out of my way to buy an adapter to make this product function with my guitar is why I gave this product 4 stars.

I've been using it for gigs in the past few months, never had any issues. The connection is great and didn't affect my tone at all. The other nice thing is the charging case let me to charge them on the go. Plus, the battery life is very good I can easily use it for 3up hours before charging. Overall a very nice buy.
