The first thing to consider is Safety. Primarily these are designed to protect you and your hands, especially those more prone to getting injured like the elderly or kids. These are NOT your experimental scissors that you try cutting tough crazy materials with. So with that taken into account, and some common sense, here's my review: These scissors are funky and fantastic. All White they look really sleek and modern. They are small but they are metal free and pretty much cut everything you normally would with scissors. They are small (maybe 6" in length) but they work wonders. The tips are designed to be safe when cutting and even running your finger on the blade doesn't cut you. So they are perfect safety scissors or good for younger kids who need them for school. I've used them to open clamshell packaging, boxes, cardboard, cereal bags, chips, granola bars, etc. They literally don't require any maintenance and ceramic means you could probably use these to cut up food or snacks for toddlers/babies. Similar to the Zoli Snip Ceramic Scissors but I prefer the all white look of these. I could see these as being useful for grandparents and elderly who don't like using sharp metal scissors. Sure they are more expensive than Westcott or scotch scissors, but given they are metal free (essentially prevent cutting yourself) and just feel wonderful to use, I think they're worth it. I can't remember the last time I got excited to pull scissors out. I imagine there are labs and special facilities like kitchens that want to use this due to it's ceramic material. I can't comment on that, but just pointing it out there. In my video, it may be hard to see what I'm cutting as Amazon's compression system is a bit funny. Plastic Bags, Latex, Egg Carton, Bubble Wrap, Cardboard, Tape, Paper Towel. P.S. of course you get all the "oooh what's that" when you use them in front of someone.

I love most of the products this company makes. These scissors feel great in my hands and the ceramic blades are super-sharp but won’t cut my fingers accidentally. Because of the sharp blades and the blunt tip, they’re my go-to scissors for removing matted pet fur. They’re very comfortable and easy to control... a much better tool than sharply pointed metal scissors. And I know my pets appreciate them. :)

I work in the film industry and thought these might be nice for cutting the various tapes that we use on set. They are horrible for cutting gaff tape and anything similar. They might work great for crafts with paper, but I cannot recommend if you’re frequently cutting tape.

I've had these a few days now. I've used them in left and right hand and found them to be acceptable in both hands but not _really_ comfortable in either. I've tried cutting a variety of materials. They are good at cutting thin and "tender" materials. They work well on std weight paper. They don't work well on tougher plant materials like pea pod stems. They don't work well on facial hair. There is a learning curve as you discover what they are and are not good at.

Good product they cut really well even cut cardboard but don’t cut skin/fingers so they are perfect for kids I got them for my 3 year old because most of her school work for her virtual classes are cut and paste and it makes me nervous. I remember them being cheaper almost 1/2 what they are a couple years ago when I was first looking at them I’m sure the price is Covid related but if my daughter didn’t NEED them for school I would have never bought them scissors should NEVER cost $30 that’s insane. So My advice is buy them if you NEED them I HIGHLY recommend them for kids but scissors are not worth $32 but with a lot of places shut down because of Covid I’m sure supplies are short. And yes if you’re wondering I did actually test them on my finger.

J'avais commandé ce ciseaux par curiosité mais j'ai été plutôt déçus. les plus : - Excellent pour couper du papier et des cartons de faible épaisseur. - très bien pour les enfants. les moins : - Ne coupe "que" du papier et des cartons de faible épaisseur. - Obligé d'avoir une autre paire de ciseaux classique à côté pour plus de flexibilité. - Le prix exorbitant vu son utilité. Bref, si vous chercher une paire de ciseaux pour couper exclusivement du papier, elle est parfaite, mais même pour ça, elle reste vraiment trop chère.

I wanted scissors that were not magnetic to use with my magnetic machine embroidery hoops. I was tired of my scissors leaping onto the hoop magnets when cutting applique. These scissors do the job perfectly.
