I've struggled with digestive issues for about 6 or 7 years now. I'm not entirely sure why either, I think I have IBS and a lactose sensitivity and maybe other food sensitivities that I haven't figured out yet, but anyway my stomach is not happy most of the time. After doing some research I decided to give digestive enzymes a try and after more research decided to give this brand a try. I am quite pleased with my purchase. I've only been using these for a couple weeks and they definitely make a difference. No, this isn't an instant "cure," but I can tell that my digestion tract has improved noticeably. I feel much better than I used to at the end of meals, and have started to have more regular bowel movements. I need to give it more time and test it out with more foods, but so far so good. I don't take this with every meal, normally I do okay with light meals in the morning that contain lots of fruit, but I have been taking it with more heavy meals, usually for lunch and dinner. Haven't tried taking it to see if it helps me with dairy yet as i just don't have dairy in my diet anymore and am used to it, but I think I'll try some yogurt and see how I do, and then maybe pizza! (the number one dairy heavy food I miss...) Overall I think I need to try this out more and give it some more time to see just how much of a difference it can really make, but so far I am very happy with this product and the company that makes it! Giving 5 stars for now, because it really does help even if it doesn't "cure" my digestive issues.

I guess because of my age (78), my system has begun to slow down significantly, resulting in daily constipation problems. I've always had blessed regularity. Nothing has worked permanently to help me get back to regularity: every kind of stool softener and laxative would work a day, but then it was back to constipation. I even researched and tried probiotics tat were specifically recommended for control of constipation but there was very little change. Then I got some of Naturenetics' DigestWise Digestive Enzymes: the very next day, I was producing "quality products" again! I am very, very relieved and back to health again. Truly, this is an amazing product. Research reflects that, as I understand it, the product supplies naturally occuring enzymes that my body is no longer providing in the amount necessary for good digetion. I understand this, and I am so grateful that they have provided this product.

I purchased this product because I needed a way to prevent bloating and full feeling I was getting when eating a lot of vegetables and things like quinoa and rice. I started with just one a day at first and seeing as it helped with my meal, I gradually moved up to two and now three a day. I don't wait to take it with my meals per say because I don't eat just three meals a day. I actually snack throughout in small portions so I just mainly take at the beginning of my first three (usually done by 2-3pm). They have helped significantly except for when the meal is super heavy with quinoa, beans, lots of veggies, we're talking loaded with proteins and gas causing things. So not the fault of the product! Still giving it four stars and plan on ordering every month!

I liked that this product has the testing seals that consumer Reports suggest that you look for on any supplement. So I felt that I could trust that it really has whatever it says it has. I appreciated that there was no magnesium stearate and as well it is free of any allergens such as wheat and milk. I have IBS and have been on a low FODMAP diet with probiotics but I felt like I needed something more based on my reading and knowing that I don't absorb nutrients like I should. For instance, even though I take iron supplements, I have to have regular iron infusions because my ferritin level is always so low. So I couldn't tell in a very large black and white way, but it seems that after I finished a bottle of this supplement , I was feeling better (no gas or bloating) and felt that I better keep buying it otherwise my gut might go back to some of its original problems. I think it is very individual as to what helps each of us and I intend to keep taking this because I feel that it is helping.

I tried this product, after trying several others. I have just gotten through a bad bout with IBS, made worse by probiotics. I was looking for something that would reduce the inflammation and correct the slow bowel movements brought on by the inflammation and swelling of IBS. As just the enzymes my gut needed to digest food properly and quickly, this worked. Not only did it settle my gut, but it helped the entire process of digestion move along as it should have been doing without the IBS. As I mentioned, in dealing with this latest 'flare,' probiotics just made everything worse. My 'flare' is now gone, but I still continue to take this three times a day before meals. It's made a big difference in the 'fight' I've had with my gut and I will continue to take it from now on, hoping to avoid future intestinal 'fights!' I have a suggestion for the product: although it does do what it's meant to do, and this suggestion is to perhaps add some Marshmallow (not the candy) Root to help coat the intestinal wall and help prevent 'leaky gut.' It will keep the enzymes where they are supposed to be as well as not let any bits and pieces of undigested/digested food slip through the intestinal wall and into the blood stream. Just a suggestion. Other than that, and even without the Marshmallow Root, Digestive Enzymes did it's job and I am going to stay with it. I am looking forward to trying some of their other products because I believe this is one of the few companies who offer a 'true' product and a 'clean' product. I recommend this company's Digestive Enzymes VERY highly!

My wife has trouble digesting fats and oils. I bought this Digestwise product and one other to compare. Both seem to be helping reduce the severity of her discomfort.
