While most of the time I'm not outside for long periods, but I still would rather save the battery for times that I'm not in a vehicle. So far I've only tested it to make sure the plug works. But if I'm ever low on battery it's nice to know I can plug in and stay warm while I'm waiting for car to warm up. If I need to power on the jacket in a car, I might as well save the battery for outside when I need it most. It did come with a couple extra fuses, granted they will most likely get lost by the time I need one. Might have to tape then to the cable or something.

Works as it should which is so much better than the battery that came with the jacket. This car adapter is the only reason I didn't return the jacket.
